I'd like to get your thoughts on something. I've had a desire to paint scenes in scripture that describe a visual appearance of God. A top example I have in mind is Exodus 24:9-10 when Moses and a company of men encounter God (whether it be a theophany or Christophany) seated on a throne. I understand that there's nothing wrong with artful portrayals of the Biblical divine. But I wonder whether I might be violating some biblical principle in visualizing the described appearance of God in a passage like Exodus 24:9-10.

Is there any community around. Its lonely being a christian artist. And most of the art spaces i hang out in are very secular these days. They are all going super pagan and its ridiculous. Thanks if you respond.

I have a question, do have to use InkAid branded Transfer Film with InkAid solutions or will any Non waterproof Film Transfers work with it?

so does this mean you are not able to transfer color prints using these products?

Regardless of you using DASSArt correctly or not, to me the Inkaid seems much easier to use. Maybe more work to do but easier then trying to guess the right side to print and the right way to place the film.

I had the Great experience of having Thomas Blackshear as a teacher at the San Francisco Academy of Art. Thomas will always be a great inspiration for me as I Love his art!

I have been a big fan of Thomas Blackshear ever since the mid 90’s. I have one of his angel sculptures. What a blessing and inspiration this interview is to me as an artist and a Christian.
