Fishing the Florida Sun Coast area, mostly, Tampa Bay, Sarasota, Anna Maria, Clearwater, St. Pete, Offshore, Nearshore, Inshore. From a beach, kayak, jet ski, or bridge. I'll trying it all. Mostly saltwater fishing adventures, but some fresh water will be thrown in from time to time. Tips and tricks along the way for sure. Catch. Clean. Cook.
[2023] I joined Freedom Boat Club
My wife and I have been tossing the idea around for a few years, and the timing seemed right for us. I made this video to help folks who are curious what the process is like. This is my experience, with my club (Tampa Bay). I'll share a few tips and observations. Please let me know if you have any questions. It was a fun four hour trip about 10 miles offshore from Clearwater, Florida. A few of us were broke off by a few larger fish, but we managed to land quite a variety!

It was a great morning fishing with my buddy Steven just off of Indian Rocks Beach. There are some artificial reefs there that I was targeting, and while it wasn't a perfect outing, a big snook sure made it all worth it!

I've been considering getting a Sea Doo Fish Pro for fishing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. The kayak is great for inshore fishing, but it doesn't offer nearly the mobility of a personal watercraft (PWC) or more commonly referred to as a Jet Ski (although that is technically a brand owned by Kawasaki).
