Most of the problems are due to the high framerate, makes the suspicion meter go crazy, that and the first level wich is know for being more difficult due to how guards "know each other" so they discover you way faster than other levels

Hello fellow Hunter! Getting into Bloodborne can be quite the ordeal, but don't you worry: you'll be quite a skilled hunter in no time! Here's some tips: *With guns... You can P A R R Y. All you need to do is lock on the target and shoot at the start of their attack. It'll take you some time, but you'll get used to it, and you better do it, cause it's going to be a great tool for you later on. *When you lock on, instead of rolling you'll dash, and minor spoilers: it's better to dodge TOWARDS the enemy. The game awards aggressiveness, with the use of RALLY. When you take damage, the life bard gets a bit darker for a short time, if you attack enemies you'll get back some life. Pretty useful, eh? *Central Yharnam is one of the BEST tutorial areas. After you clear it all, you'll be ready for everything this rotten city has to offer. *To backstab an enemy, you first need to charge a full heavy attack (R2) it'll make a sound, then get close and press R1 quickly (Bonus: if you have the rally bar active, it'll replenish INSTANTLY) *Trick weapons shine when doing combos: while attacking, press L1, that will transform your weapon mid combo and do increase damage. In some weapons it's even better, allowing you to unleash serious numbers in a short time. *After you see the true horrors of Yharnam, you'll unlock the level up system. It's just advice, but try to level your health quite regularly. Try to aim for 20 for now and 40 later on. *Based on your weapon choices: the pistol is excellent for speed in parries, but you have to be precise. The hunter axe is just a great choice overall, excellent with mobs of enemies, if you fully charge an R2 in its long form you'll become a BEYBLADE. *Later on you'll find some decent armor for free (just search everywhere), so don't speed your precious echoes on the Yharnamite set for now (unless you want the FASHION) *If you press the upper D-pad, at the cost of some health, you'll generate 5 blood bullets. They're the same as silver bullets, but almost free. REMEMBER FOR LATER (depending on how you play later on): 1 blood vial equals 5 blood bullets... So 1 hit equals 5 less bullets. *Without too many spoilers: beasts don't like FIRE at all; parrying humans is useful; even if you can't believe it: MANY enemies can be parried, don't be discouraged to try and see what happens. *And finally (for now), the BEST ADVICE I can give: have fun! The first hours of gameplay are difficult, but with some patience and practice you'll be hunting beasts like it's nothing! Hope this helps you, I'll be waiting to see your gameplay.
