Not another funny, cute video - on Israel's bombardings on the UN schools in the Gaza Strip
Hi. My name is Silvia and I'm a 25 year old Brazilian, and I'd like to talk about something with you today for just a few minutes. So, if you can spare me a little time, I thank you very much.
I'd like to talk to you about the Israeli bombings of the United Nations' schools.
What is happening in the Gaza Strip ammounts to genocide and yet another holocaust. Yes, yes. That's what I'm calling it. I'm calling it as I see it. Let's look at what genocide and holocaust mean by definition so you can understand where I'm coming from.
Genocide is the systematic destruction of all or part of a racial, ethnic, religious or national group via: the killing of members of the group; causing of serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberate inflicting on the group's conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; imposing of measures intended to prevent births within the group; or forcible transferring of children of the group to another group. By bombing locations that house palestinian kids, Israel is killing members of the group, is causing serious bodily and mental harm, is purposely targeting the part of the palestinian people that will be able to continue to give life and hope to a Palestinian country, and is indirectly forcing the transferring of this section of palestinian people to other territories - after all, would you let your child or your little sister, even if you hated her, would you let them stay there? Would you not send them away to protect them? I would. Wouldn't you?
Now. Holocaust. The freedictionary.com says it's great destruction resulting in the extensive loss of life, especially by fire; genocide or European Jews and others by the Nazis during World War II; a massive slaughter; a sacrifice offering that is consumed entirely by flames. Is this not a great destruction, characterized by extensive loss of life perpetuated by the massive slaughter of children, women and old people?
Why hasn't the UN sent troops there, like it did to Ruanda and to Bosnia? Why haven't the countries that pacified Iraq and Afghanistan got more involved in this situation? Were they not fighting for freedom and life, and those people's human dignity and basic rights? Weren't them? Weren't they? I wonder.
Since no one is doing anything, I decided to do what I could. I don't have money, I don't have medical skills and I don't have a death wish. The next best thing for me to do was to write, record and upload this message in hopes that it will touch others like I have been touched by news of this conflict. I want to create a buzz, I want to create talk and I want to create a thought in people's head. I want you, YOU, me and other to not forget, never forget what is happening in the Gaza Strip. And never forget the innocent people that have lost their lives so far. Let's pay tribute to them by giving testimony to what is happening there. Let's enlighten others and let's find ways to give it a platform.
Israel is no longer a state party to the Rome Statute of July 17th, 1998 and, therefore, does not submit itself to the International Criminal Court, so we can not request the ICC to investigate and prosecute the people involved in this atrocity.
I'm nobody in the international field. Neither are you, possibly. Probably. But together, we're two nobodies spreading the word against Israel's bombarding and systematic killing of the palestinian children, and we might one day, hopefully, become a force strong enough to be heard by those that are somebodies in the international scene.
Help me. Spread the word. Share this video if you can and talk about what's going on in the Gaza Strip. Help me help those kids. Help me help those that haven't given their lives yet, that has (sic) not had their blood shed yet. Gandhi once said, "be the change you want to see in the world". I'm trying. Can you help me?

Back when Ellen Page was happy. Man, I fucking hate the 2020's.
When you watch this as a teenager, you just can’t help but love Juno’s badass attitude and find Vanessa’s integrity just boring. When you grow up, you finally understand how childish Juno was in here, living things way bigger than her age, and how Vanessa was incredibly patient with her.
clássico dos anos 90... filmes assim nunca mais vão existir
She is basically Ellie lmao.
Esse filme é massa!!

This movie is a textbook on good communication, and of course no one gives a damn
I really like how Vanessa's character is asking Juno directly whether she is looking for any kind of other compensation. Not asking from her father, or from her father and Juno, but directing the question at Juno, treating her as an equal discussion partner, as an adult.
I love how much Vanessa cares about cleanliness but I can't help but think about how that baby is going to tear up that house lol 😂😂
Juno looks SO much like Ellie from the Last of Us omg
He cannot become pregnant. He's male.
Trans men have been able to give birth, so it's possible.
@@Starkardur Is it? How does that work??!??
@@donjorge8329 Well when they haven't had their operation and still ovulate maybe due to a break in hormone treatment or that the hormones haven't affected their ovulation and they still have a uterus.

Ironically, given the 'baby down the river' analogy, Moses' adoption was not closed, as his biological mother was taken on to serve a his nurse
I just wrote a comment like this. I deleted it once I found this.
Being pregnant was the most beautiful feeling in the world... besides going piss every 5 min, and feeling nauseous..and round ligament pain.
This is the comment pointing out that you got this in your recommended because of his coming-out.

0:51 mmmmmm yeah jajajajajaaj. Greatness.
1:09 that's such a realistic moment. Sometimes you don't think about what you say and how it affects someone and Vanessa's face was so sad😞
Ive done this before 🥴 I didn't recognize the weight of it all intil I became an adult
oh no! anyways
Hi I love songs. Dogs 🐶🐶🐶🐕 Euneka. So cools. What's your favorite color.
"No, no I don't wanna sell the thing" Jeez 🤣
Ok... That thumbnail looks like a Last of Us film, where Joel's bald and old and Ellie has just returned from scavenging and got into a brawl or two.
One of my favorite things in this scene is the way Vanessa is laser-focused on what Juno wants. She so badly wants to be a mother herself, that she's willing to sacrifice parts of her own experience, her own happiness, to make that happen. She's willing to have an open adoption, even though it's clear from the relief on her face when Juno strikes that down that Vanessa doesn't want to have an open adoption. And then when they offer "other type of compensation." I love how when Mack is like "Excuse me?" Vanessa acknowledges him, but disregards him -- she's focused on what Juno wants. And you can tell in that moment she understands and respects that Juno is the one making sacrifices here, so it's really up to her and whatever she would want. It's...it's like a woman respecting another woman. I really dig that.
Yeah, there are flaws in this film but the dynamic between Vanessa and Juno is what makes it great.
This is exactly what I was thinking. You put it into words beautifully.
you explained it so well!
You explained it wonderfully! And even though it’s not an open adoption, I hope that Juno and Vanessa stay close. They’re practically family now

Vanessa's passive-aggressive "encouragement" to have Juno start drinking vitamin water et. al. *SLAP*
I think you're reading too much into the offer.

That was Elliot try to come to the surface.
This isn’t very fun to watch as an adult 💔
Why?
Juno in real life will be amazing. But then again, I have not seen anyone like her so, hmm

@@monderino I'll...just sit down...
I never liked Mark. He always seemed so uninterested. Vanessa was such a sweetheart and deserved better
She wanted a baby he didn't. Not really that far out of left field.
@Batgirl 22 Agreed, though my theory has always been that Mark knew before they got married that he was infertile and never told Vanessa, hoping that they could casually keep "trying" for years and hope that she would just give up on the idea, could discuss adoption in a vague sense, but never truly act on it and let it become a reality, since he didn't want children and never told her how much he didn't. In other words, a selfish prick.
@@Wawagirl17 That’s some serious head cannon. It is never implicitly stated why they are unable to have a child of their own. To me it seemed like a relationship that already wasn’t doing well because of a major difference of priorities.
@@billdavis7577 At the very mention of Juno saying "You're lucky it's not you" it's pretty clear that Vanessa is hurt by those words. I don't think her outright saying "I can't produce a child because of X, Y, Z" is at all necessary. Things don't have to always be spelled out.
@@aussti3864 Again they don’t go into detail about it. How long they tried before choosing adoption, did they try fertility treatments an get tested to figure out the issue? It’s never explicitly stated, it’s simply implied that they cannot get pregnant.
