with the manual mode, you can decrease height of the phantom really fast. when I thougt I have enough space to the ground to catch the fall, a tree appeared from nowhere. Anyways I think it was already too fast falling to catch the fall at all.

    Has anyone figured out how to replace the keyboard on these? I have one with a dead key, and it's driving me insane. I just have a new keyboard, but it looks like you have to replace the whole top panel ... Is that the case, or can you just replace the keyboard itself?

    • @mrstatic09
      @mrstatic09 9 років тому

      +Kiwisaft Design Pretty unlikely considering the chipset limitations. What you need to consider is the chipset and available slots. The GS60 Ghost Pro (or at least the 3k version) doesn't have more than 2 slots, with a max combined of 16GB (2x 8GB). The other element is price. Even if you could find a single 16GB module it would be prohibitively expensive (because there's just not a large enough market/volume for it...yet). The chipset specs also state that they don't support higher than 16GB on this version.

      TechnicaIlyInsane And I have one of these laptops. 4710/860m. Very nice system. Mines been great and have only had minor software issues that falls on Windows being lame. But no crashing or blue screening at all. Its fast as fuck too. Multi tasking and booting up is like childs play with the SSD and 12gb of ram. I was thinking about upgrading the ram or HDD but I don't really see the need. I got this system on a line of credit to game and have a portable system. Once I pay off the credit bill I'll have another $2k to spend (Also bought a desktop monitor/keyboard/mouse/cooling pad/cables) and I will be building a new desktop. But right now this is my main system and it's just fine. Highly recommend this laptop if you don't want a gaming laptop that's ridiculously large. This thing has so much power and still its light and thin. Haven't had any cooling issues yet either. It idle's between 33-40c and under load its usually between 50-70c, but I have seen it hit 80c. Shouldn't be a big concern as 90% of the time the laptop stays under 45c, hitting 80c every now and then gaming shouldn't cause an issue.

      coolertuep ohne die SSD ist es wirklich ne lahme Mühle. wundert mich, dass MSI das so verkauft, macht keinen guten Eindruck mit ständigen hängern. ich wollte eigentlich das i7 modell bei dem die SSD schon drin ist, war aber nirgends lieferbar. Hatte auch nicht damit gerechnet, dass es nicht einfach ne klappe gibt wies bei den meisten notebooks ist.

      Kiwisaft Design aufjedenfall super, dass du ein video darüber gemacht hast! Mir reicht die kleine Konfiguration locker aus, bin kein Hardcore Gamer. hätte das Gerät für gut 900€ haben können - aber auf diese Bastelei und Garantieverlust habe ich keinen bock -.- Kommt man an den zweiten (mSata?) Slot genauso bescheiden dran?

      coolertuep 900 ist ja ein guter preis ^^ die beiden Slots sind genau nebeneinander. das einzige was leichter zu wechseln ist, ist das wlan-modul. aber das gehäuse muss man immer ganz öffnen. und es ist KEIN mSata sondern m.2 (NGFF)

      Was there a screw, or which size did you use

      Patrik Betak no there is no screw. i think the size was M2. but you can check if it fits from the backside of the mainboard, so you dont need to unplug everything until you know if it fits or not. the lenght is very variable, i think from 3-6 mm all is good
