My Uterine/Endometrial Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
I'm sharing my experience with endometrial cancer to help other women become aware. This type of cancer is not spoken of or funded as much as other types of cancer like breast cancer and this needs to change.

How long will it last? can I also glue it on a canvas
Have you ever used this glitter to enhance a picture? I am going to try that!
I'm very pleased to learn about your outcome. Hair dye has been associated with bladder cancer. I had a similar experience about casually checking. I never voluntarily went for a checkup or testing. One day, I got a notice in the mail that my insurance company was paying for a mammogram. I would have never gone voluntarily, but since I got the appointment for the next day, I went. A cyst, but just make sure. A biopsy. It's cancer. I had seven biopsies and small operations over the course of two months because they couldn't find out what kind of cancer it was or where the borders were; it was all over. Finally, I had a mastectomy. Four years later, I was feeling great and it returned. I had more surgery, chemo, radiation, etc. Seventeen years later I was feeling great, and it returned. I had more radical surgery and chemo. I really can't complain, though, because if I hadn't had the mammogram, I certainly would have died, they said. It was a very strong strain of whatever it was. It came back in the exact same place the last time on the skin. This last chemo that I was on for a year has done me in. I'm not able to do much because I'm still debilitated. I've been to a lot of doctors who can't help. Cancer is a nasty disease and it feels as though it's an attack from some alien force, which it actually is. Stay strong and keep up your checkups. I'm sorry to hear you went through this.
Good job👍
This came up on my feed today. On the tight bond glue, can you move the cap to the new bottle of glue? Will it fit?
What type of glitter are you using????
What is flooding ? Thank you !🥰
Just found you ! Watching from Alberta Canada ! ❤️👍
This is from two years ago, but I’m loving your ribbon! I have quite a bit of antique ribbon, mostly much thinner because I use it in my sewing.
What is the most popular grit of glitter to use on pinecones?
I can't thank you enough for sharing this process. You are so right that we just don't talk about it enough and as women I feel that we are constantly having to advocate for our health. I am praying for you sweet lady and am so glad to have found you.
Thank you for sharing. Praying for a quick and full recovery.
So glad you're on the mend! I've missed you so much! Thank you for this! ❤
Jayne, thank you for sharing. I know how hard it is to share such personal experiences but we never know how it may touch someone to share or get the help they need. I’m so glad to hear you are doing well and that they caught the cancer early. Take care.🥰🥰
Also birth pills can cause cancer.
Been thinking of you & missed you very much! So happy that you had that encounter with your student and you acted upon it. Glad you are on the mend & look forward to seeing you more❤❤❤
I'm only an occasional watcher, but I'm so happy to hear that you had a woman share that private, but vital information with you and it's beautiful you're sharing your own personal journey to help save other women's lives ❤.
We miss you so much. We need more of the creative knowledge you are storing in the pretty head of yours. Sending you positive vibes with lots of prayers of thanks ❤
It’s so good to see you. You look great
Thank you so much for sharing this. ❤
I’m just a follower of yours, but I want you to know that you are a beautiful warrior. Thank you for sharing this with such compassionate transparency to all of us women. I had a complete hysterectomy (not by choice) at 47, and overall almost a dozen painful surgeries. Women need to come together, share and help each other out. Thank you for bringing this cancer to light for so many. I wish you well as you continue to deal with this scare in your life. ❤❤❤
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for sharing this! I don't have any symptoms right now "down there", but I so agree in your comment that we really really need to be our own advocate, and if we feel there is something going on, check it out! Don't let anyone poo poo you! Doctors are so busy these days that it is just too easy to pin it on your age, or a chronic disease or whatever. For me it is chronic migraine headaches, and it feels like whenever something goes south, it is, "just another manifestation of migraine". I am so glad you are doing better and that you reached out to all of us!
Also, I have been putting off going for my annual exam. I am making an appointment tomorrow. I am so glad you are ok.
Jayne- I almost skipped past this video. Boy am I glad I didn't! I am in the process of going through this exact same thing. I am post menopausal and had almost a regular period. It just happened that I had a regular check up coming up and I almost didn't mention it to my doctor. Once I did, she immediately scheduled the sonogram. I am now waiting to see the gynecologist for the biopsy. Hearing your experience helped me not be so scared while I am waiting. Bless you for this video. I am so happy that all is well with you!
Thank you so much for sharing!
Bravo to you Jayne for having the courage to share your very important experience ❣️❣️
Im so glad you listened to the other woman and decided to go for a check up, surgery and are on the mend. And for alerting all of the symptoms. 🌸
As you mentioned, had that previous student of yours not bumped into you, you wouldn't have gotten yourself checked out. I'm thankful that you had this encounter with her. We miss you but know that you need this time for healing.
Oh my goodness, I had noticed that you hadn’t posted a video in a while, but never thought this might be the reason. I have to admit as you talked about how grateful you were and your eyes filled with tears so did mine 🥹 I know the overwhelming tears of gratitude 💗 I’m so glad you are sharing this… Great example of how important it is to speak honestly and openly about difficult things… You never know whose life you will save. Wishing you peace love and continued healing 🙏💗
PS.. just in time for the summer release 😜
Well. That was a shocking video. I am sorry that you went through all of that. Just wanted to say that you will be in my prayers. You are easily one of my favorite people I have watched tutorials from. Honestly you just come across as a genuinely good person with a lot of class. I have enjoyed watching your videos and have been inspired countless times. I will take what you said to heart and also share with women I know. Sending prayers and love for full recovery. Thank you for the courage of sharing something so difficult and intensely personal. ❤
Lack of exercise , high body Mass Index ( overweight) fat causes excess estrogen and lower progesterone. The progesterone causes the blood lining the endometrium walls to flow out ( periods) . Post menopause and with imbalance of excess estrogen from fat and low progesterone allows the blood to accumulate and build up it thicken the endometrium and normal cells can mutate and cause cancer cells to grow. Stay lean and fit eat a Healthy diet of green leafy vegetables lots of fruit and intake at least 20 grams of fiber a day.. blueberries blackberries pears peaches give you great gut bacteria to fight off cancer.
Dear Jayne - so glad you are on the mend. Such a great prognosis. Thank you for sharing. I understand about sharing: I have a rare cancer also - LGL leukemia. You are correct - giggling can drive you crazy. My cancer is non treatable but manageable and I am quite fine. Continue to improve - sending hugs.
Jayne I watched this with my hands clenched in prayer that you are healthy and the outcome was the best possible outcome. Thank God! I pray the you have continued good health. Happy to see you back 🙏🏻♥️
Jayne you have always been and continue to be such an inspiration! Not only creatively, but in your strength! You are one of the bravest and most courageous women I know. Sharing your story has and will continue to help other women! I wish you didn’t have to go through all this, and I’m soo happy to hear you’re doing better and now healing! I love seeing the beautiful sewing you’re creating! * You made it through this video without breaking down 😉🤗🤗🤗 (I couldn’t stop 😭🤦🏻♀️)! Lots of love and hugs!! 💗🌸💗🌼💗🌷💗💗💗💗
Thank God for your student sharing her story with you. And thank you for sharing your story with us. I have missed seeing your videos but never thought you were absent because of an illness . I am so glad you are doing well and that you are showing us your beautiful, smiling face. God Bless you ❤️🥰❤️🥰
So glad you caught it so early, Jayne. Good health and healing to you. I went through something similar in my 40's. I am soon to be 64. Ladies, get your exams.
When you are post menopausal and have spotting the first thought of a doctor is cancer. Tell your friends and loved ones. 65,000 women a year are getting EC and growing. 60 is the number one age for endometrial cancer. Avg age between 45-74. I was 62 had spotting too. Thought it was just normal postmenopausal too. Endometrial cancer stage 111C. Hysterectomy of everything even cervix. Doctor created a cuff to close off vag. Possible leaks or collapse of intestines/bladder into vag side effects . Mine leaked but I used medium chain triglycerides to close leak. IT WORKS ! It is a combination of extra virgin solid ( not liquid) coconut oil and goats milk. Cook mushrooms tomatoes foods that will absorb them in a pan. I ate this for 3 days and leak stopped. These are the natural way of getting the med chain tryglicerides into your body. I found a UK forum of doctors discussing it's use. Then chemotherapy 6 hard treatments. Lost all my hair. Still having numbness tingling neuropathy but seems to be occasional now. Then brachytherapy radiation. Humiliating radiation of vag. Causes Vaginal Stenosis or shortening and narrowing of vag causing pain but I'm treating with hyaluronic acid medium weight creme and vag dilators to prevent scar tissue build up. Next is immuno therapy and that comes with possible serious serious side effects. I'm not trying to scare you my friends. I'm telling you what the doctors will not tell you up front. I had to research all of it and negotiate the best treatment for my self and that's a lot easier to do when you've read the surgery , chemo drug literature and radiation and immuno trial literature. Please do like I did. Be aware and be your own best advocate because you are the person who decides your quality of life after the treatments. Talk to your doctors about things I just told you. Important. ❤ Love and Hope ❤
Jayne, I've missed you so much and think about you so often. I can relate to everything you said in this video, as an adenocarcinoma cervical cancer survivor. It turns your world upside down for a time. I'm so glad that yours was caught early, as was mine. You will heal well, emotionally, and physically, because you are such a strong woman. Sending you love and hugs ❤❤❤.
Jayne, thank you for sharing. I hope it reaches people who need the message. Very glad you are healing. I was just wondering about you last week. ❤
Jayne, it's so ironic that I had just posted that I was looking forward to your next video - however, this is certainly not what I expected. Many thanks to your customer for sharing her story with you and giving you a nudge to see your doctor. I had my hysterectomy at 39 because of endometriosis and can sympathize with the struggles of getting up and down from a bed/chair/sofa!! Thank goodness it hadn't spread, and everything was gotten in the surgery. Sending you a gentle hug, and best wishes in your continued healing. 💜💐🙏
Im so glad you’re doing okay. It’s good to keep your mind busy right. Thank you for sharing. I hope you’ll be back soon on you tube. Life is precious.❤😊
Jayne you are an inspiration and one brave lafy. I have wondered whete you have been also. Im the type that hated going to the doctor ( not sure why im like that but thats me). Until now. You are inspired me to get checked out. Thank you Jayne for tpday. Please take good care of yourself. Jann
Jayne you are an inspiration and one brave lady. Thank you for sharing your experience. Please take good care. Ive always tried to avoid going to the doctor ( not sure why but thats me). You have inspired me to get checked and start taking better care of myself. Im so glad that all is well now with you. Jann
Thank you for sharing this with us Jayne 🤍🤍. You are a living miracle and your desire to pay it forward is heartwarming. You look amazing. You are beautiful. You are an emotional beacon to all of us on our life’s journey as women . I’m so happy to know you are here with us. I’ve missed you and now I understand where you’ve been. Healing, recovering, processing and living through this health scare. Sending you a big big big hug 🤍🤍🤍
Jayne 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Thank you for this tutorial! Do you think it would it be possible to gild both sides and make a necklace with a real leaf? I had a leaf necklace from my mom I lost :( I know it was a real leaf, but the gold covering seemed thicker but still bent a bit, and was really durable. Im thinking about trying to recreate it, but not sure if the one I had was some other process. Any ideas are super appreciated! 🙏🏼
Sounds beautiful, so sorry you lost it but recreating is such a great idea! I would reach out to an actual goldsmith and let them know what you're thinking. I'm sure they can give you some great ideas 😊
@@SurfaceAnthology thank you!! I found out it's a gold dipped leaf, so a bit different but I found some other vintage ones online. I hope to find the original one someday somehow, but will enjoy having a similar statement piece again ❤
Nice product idea 18 minutes of talking , couldn't hang. Also, Diamond Dust is just a good as German glass and affordable. Next time, use SPRAY glue on your cones and tree.
How did you make the wash?
Can you use any type of guilding glue? I have one by prima I'm just nervous I'm going to wreck my stamp.
To create this finish, is it necessary to use chalked paint or do any other paint like mineral paint work too?
