Thank you! I don’t have an exact number but for the cabinets and countertop for our kitchen and island it was around 20k + 5K (Canadian Dollars) for installation. The size of our kitchen is quite large though and we added a whole 1/3 more than the old kitchen layout. I wouldn’t recommend it with gel polish. It’s not quite thick enough to build up a gap and you would likely see the fill. Also it would be hard to get the polish to adhere properly so it wouldn’t last long either. Better to just repaint the entire nail :)

Unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to use gel polishes with out a lamp to cure the polish. Curing the polish is what hardens it and makes it feel dry. Without it, the polish will stay wet.

To each their own, for many it makes your manicure look cleaner with less dry skin. It alzo removes any overgrown debris on the nail bed so your polish has a clean surface to adhere to. Just small steps to make your manicure better :)

Yes gel is made up of a different formula, you need acetone to remove it. It’s different from regular nail polish which is why it’s long lasting.

I’m trying to grow my thin damaged nails out after a lot of gel sets and i want to get them to be healthy and longer :)

This works with IBD but could work with other builder gel. Cure for atleast 60 seconds under the lamp at each stage. It’s your choice for how long you should wait, when you feel it’s grown out enough you can reapply it :)

The prep of the nail is the same, those tips will make sure your builder gel sticks to your nail. The application and everything else is different from gel. I do have a video on my page for IBD builder gel if that’s what you’re looking for, the video is titled how to grow long nails :)

@@CreateYourSpace_. Great video by the way. One thing I noticed is that after applying the base, there seems to be some little bubbles building up when applying the color and I have no idea why that happens. Am I doing something wrong? I’m always open for feedback to get better.

@rokuken oh interesting, I would avoid shaking your bottles to mix the polish and roll it around gently instead. Also could your polish be getting old/sticky?

@@CreateYourSpace_. Oh no! That’s exactly what I did! I see. Avoid shaking and mix gently. Will get it right next time. I’m just practicing with a friend of mine and noticed this happening. I did shake the bottle because she told me that’s how you mix the ingredients when it looks oiley when you apply it. I’ll let her know. Being a guy, this seems to be hard master for me. But I will get there as I want to do my 2 daughter’s nails someday 😅. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes! I feel the same way and hated the drill at the salon. I actually got my on drill so if I ever have something that is stubborn that won’t come off, I use it but VERY gently and only ever drill the product, not my nail. Glad I could help!

It definitely helps if you have an edge lifting already to allow the water and oil to slip under there. It will be hard to do if you have no lifting what so ever.

I haven’t done a break down of this kitchen but if you are curious about ikea kitchens I have a previous kitchens price break down video on my channel, that kitchen is smaller so I would say this one is likely 1.5 times that one in terms of pure ikea kitchen costs :) hope that helps!

Yes, 100% pure acetone is the only thing that will work. You cannot use nail polish remover with added acetone as it’s not strong enough.

The main thing is to make sure you polish is comparable with your polish. Some polishes are for LED lights and others for UV lights. Also peeling polish is caused by lots of other issues. I have another video on why nails don’t last if you’re curious :)
