We cannot fulfil the law… that’s the point, no-one can love to this extent. The Parable reveals the failure of everyone to obey the 10 commandments. Summed up we are lost sinners, we cannot obey the Law, who can love to this extent, no-one… at this point, the hearer will realise they’re lost (That’s the Laws purpose) The characters are fiction.

One great reason I love the Lords Church is how we conduct ourselves. The Bible is our authority and when we are challenged we don’t make silly remarks or sarcastic remarks at least from the debates I’ve seen from the COC. we debate with scripture. The comment he made on the beginning tell a lot of times white. Keep up the good Lords work.

My Testimony of god and christ is quickened Hallelujah. I am working through the ministry of the devil to lie, kill, steal and destroy and have encountered a recent war with the devil because of this. I had simply prayed when i needed to and read the bible and pondered the meanings to get through. This is not impossible. When you come up against unusual things or events especially a series of them in your life it is important to realise that this is not someone but something. The good lord gives and the good lord takes away blessed be the name of the lord. When you deal with legalism one of the things you are going to encounter is this concept The ministry of the devil simple.

The Bible teaches that what Paul taught was all directly from Christ. John 14:26, John 16:12-15 teaches this. Paul Himself even says that what he taught were the "commandments of the Lord." Don't let anyone convince you Paul taught a different Gospel than Jesus. Jesus speaking in John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." Jesus speaking in John 16:12-15 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians. 14:37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I !!write !! to you are the commandments of the Lord.

Perhaps also relevant to the discussion is what God told Adam in the garden in Genesis 2:17 (ESV): but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” It seems Adam and Eve were innocent of sin because they did not know the difference between right and wrong, but once they ate and “the eyes of both were opened” (3:7) they were guilty. A child is not guilty until their eyes are opened to their sin. I think that’s exactly what Paul was saying in Romans 7:9 as you guys mentioned in the episode.

Another podcast by despicable people that should have no voice in the public square. You bros are CHOOSING to believe in this repugnant doctrine, and you have the audacity to support it and say god is good for doing it. You cruel god really can’t see this as unjust and evil, when a 3 year old won’t hesitate to do so. The 3 year old with a Muslim friend at daycare, a kind and generous family, donating and helping the poor and living the golden rule, but not believing the atonement/blood bathing cult part of your gross faith…. Naturally the deeds don’t matter, right? God is happier by murderous rapists that cause suffering, but truly repent at the end of life (don’t you dare try to gaslight me and say god would not see thing this is real repentance, you don’t know that and you use that defense mechanism to feel better). The repentant nazi is preferable to god than Gandhi. The repentant Jeff Dahmer is preferable to Ann Frank. You justify and defend this why? Because you are cowards just sucking up to your invisible sky judge, despite this obvious unjust and cruel standard? Your god that condemned butt sex 6 times in your Bible, but never condemned slavery once? (Don’t you gaslight me by saying he set the stage for it to end someday, he NEVER CONDEMNED IT, and the slave child that saw his mom beat and sold isn’t comforted by your repugnant rationalization). You actually think this divine figure has moral authority? Condemning to hell consensual homosexual love and intimacy because it doesn’t fit the archaic and narrow marriage definition, but saying nothing to condemn slavery when he could easily do so, even Jesus had a chance to correct this and didn’t. Not only that, but a slave in this system that doesn’t believe the right thing still goes to hell, eternal punishment for acts done on a mortal timescale? And god doesn’t think “hmmmm, maybe he didn’t have time to repent between the cotton fields and the beatings, but nah, if Ann Frank is burning, so is he.” Eternal hell, slavery apologists, creating a world god knew would fall and condemning billions to hell because he… wants a lot of attention? You 3 are despicable. And you talk about this with a smile, only psychopaths could do this. You shouldn’t spew this vitriol anywhere near where children can hear it, go deep into a cave and leave the reasonable world alone 🖕🖕🖕

interesting that in the beginning God originally spoke to man directly but then sin came and “separated” man from God. Then Jesus came reconciling the world back to God. Men then preached the gospel of reconciliation. Some men have believed and been reconciled, even having the true Spirit of God living IN them. But God still doesn’t speak directly to them. 🤔🤨

How are we able to be sure that we have come to KNOW Jesus? 1 John 2:3-4 says 3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. So, the Bible clearly says that whoever says they KNOW Him but does not keep His commandments(plural) is a LIAR!! Plain and simple. The gospel that is taught to many people today has been reduced down to just "faith alone". This false gospel of "faith alone" has made following the commandments of Christ null and void. Obeying His commandments have been eliminated from the gospel and have been made subsequent and optional to salvation. Walking in the Spirit has been made optional as well. This false gospel of "faith alone" changes what Jesus said in Matthew 7:14 - For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Instead of following the biblical teaching on salvation in Christ, they follow this false gospel which tells them that they can be saved by "faith alone", apart from having to keep the commandments of Christ. By teaching that we do NOT need to keep the commandments(plural) of Christ as the gospel, the saving power of the gospel has been neutralized. The end result is that millions of people have been deceived by the devil's masterpiece into thinking they have eternal life in Christ when they actually do not.

Don't know why you do that, but you assume, that there is only one resurrection, while there are multiple resurrections described in the Bible. From that strange point of view you build up some of your arguments. Matthew 27:52-53 Same strange argument for that the rapture can be traced back to Darby. Okay Darby might have made it popular, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be biblical. Jesus was prophesied in the Bible multiple times, yet it was not a popular belief that he would redeem us until he actually died for us. I hope you guys have changed your mind and correct your mistakes. God bless you!

The grave mistake the protestant reformers made was to confuse the "works" of the catholics to somehow earn salvation with acts of obedience in order to recieve, from God. The word "recieve" in the original Greek means " to take hold of". Also many ttimes in the scriptures where we read that one must believe " on" or " in" the Lord in order to be saved the Greek word is eis which means"into".

when we look at instrumental music the argument is "its the old testament and we're no longer under that." The OT is the law. Where in the law is instrumental music? If it's not part of the law then it's still fine. Also Paul goes into the temple, where temple worship had instrumental music, so is Paul sinning?
