Hello mister🤍
@@iva0101 hello Iva!
This was extremely helpful. I have been spinning my wheels trying a lot different things and spending money on junk trying to get board feed audio to my GoPro 13 and there is always a glitch, distortion, auto on only left or right channel you name it. Thank you again and I would watch more videos like this.
@@keithweaver8100 thank you for this very helpful feedback Keith. I actually have a ton of experience working with the GoPro ecosystem and trying to find a way to get a good audience set up. There are quite a few challenges and it is never as easy as it is advertised on paper. I had thought about making videos like this, but my audience never seemed interested. Your feedback makes me want to make more videos like this. Thanks so much.
Aaron just missed you live. Another 1st, class job. Have a great Christmas. The best 😊😊😊😊😊😊😮😮😮😮😮😢😢😢😢😢😊😊😊
I appreciate it! Hope the holiday season is treating you well.
Hey Aaron, I apologize if you have done this in the past, but, in a future Q&A you do, could you explain the setup you use to stream these performances? What you use for video, how you connect the audio to get a clean mix etc. thank you.
I gotcha covered! Let me know if you have any more questions! ua-cam.com/video/_8c7d6fCyf0/v-deo.html
I love how in Portland/Vancouver most of the great guitarists already moved. Therefore I get a tier that nashville wouldn't allow me 😂but i respect that nashville grind
I hear ya! It’s a different scene for sure… but we all play the same 12 notes!
What was the song?
Which song are you referring to?
Im a pianist/ keyboard player and moving to Nashville to break into the scene. Just Subscribed!
Let me know when you come to town! Drop me a line if you have any questions!
Just now listening to this great band and enjoying their vibe!💙💙
Thank you!
Paul is here late. Another solid job. The best 😊😊😊😊😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤Paul.
You are so brave to get on here and comfort your troubles and I respect that about you. We all have those but not everyone can talk about them. You seem to be dealing with everything in a wonderful way. I always enjoy listening to you talk and play. So keep up the good work and hang in there. Things are going to get better in life. We just have to sometimes put it into God's hands and pray about it. 🙏🙏🫂❤️
🥺
That looks really complicated but thanks for sharing. I use the basic Atem Mini camera switcher from Black Magic Design. It has two stereo line in audio channels and it is cheap too. The cam inputs can output the audio from the cameras too if you get breakout boxes so you get four more stereo audio channels. And no, my experience is that nobody is very interested. If they are they go with the expensive pro stuff.
Thanks for the tip! I just haven’t used that because I believe the cameras need to be hard wired to the switched and needing a hard line for internet also present a different wrinkle. This setup, once it’s made, takes less than 5 minutes to set up and get going.
Thanks for posting this, Aaron! I deal with the same thoughts, and this was encouraging 🎉
WE got this. Just acknowledging it is such a big piece of the puzzle!
You should be proud and I’m so proud of you! ♾️
That means a lot. Thank you for following and supporting me along this wild journey!
My pleasure. When you realize it’s an asset and not a burden, you’re there. You’ve got this Aaron! 🙌🏻♾️
This is good Aaron, keep on man. Rocking that Pitt hoody !
#Sixburgh!
You are brave and I respect and admire you going on line and sharing your authentic self in the ways that you do. I so agree with what you said about confronting your insecurities and fighting back. This takes amazing mental, physical and emotional strength, but to do nothing only prolongs healing and keeps one treading water in the same ol’ dirty water. You are a talented musician with a big heart who likes to share your ups and downs with other people, hoping to help, not hurt. I personally think talking about whatever troubles we have gives ‘air’ to them and takes away their power over us. Compartmentalizing unpleasant events or insecurities can allow them to grow in the dark whereas bringing them to light and air gives us our power back. I think I just said that twice! Anyway, in my humble opinion I consider myself a good listener and you’ll always have an audience of one, to be sure. Take care and be kind and loving to yourself.
Thank you for the kind words. It’s really helpful to have a supportive community and I hope to inspire others through my own battles. Thank you so much for the kind words… I hope to make all of you proud someday.
Aaron Paul is here. The best . 😊😊😊😊😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤Paul. Larry Holmes heavyweight boxer of the world say,s don,t let any one tell you, you can,t do something. That has helped me.
Sometimes it’s me telling me I can’t. I’m working on changing that!
Love that Anker power cube! i just purchased it using the link you provided. Hopefully you get a little something for the referral.
Awesome thank you!
I remember the videos that led up to the big reveal of the "suitcase". Awesome to see it still around and it has evolved!!
It’s been a “fun” journey!
Cool setup Aaron! I have an older iPhone that is lightning cable, I wonder if an adaptor could make it work. Does the audio automatically work on iPhone in various apps? For example, if you just use the camera app and record video, would the audio be from the Scarlett?
I think it should work with a lightning to usb c. And yes. It recognizes it as an audio interface automatically. Literally plug-n-play
Curious how you run the click track to just your in-ear
I route the click track into the “TAPE IN” of the mixer, and then deactivate “TO MAIN” button on the “TAPE IN” channel. The main outs go to my audio interface. The phones out is where I connect my IEM’s. Make sense?
@ that will help. I’m still getting set up. Guess I’ll be ordering one of these. Thanks for the info and video share
@@napp7667 drop me a line if you need some help!
Wish I could have caught this live. I can attest to your advice in this video. Face to face meeting and building relationships with others in your local scene is absolutely 100% essential. It's also incredibly rewarding. I spent far too many years in my own head. With the help of friends I was able to break out of that. Thanks for this one!
I,m a couple hours late Paul is here the best paul😊😊😊😊😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤.
Can i use this with my yamaha home receiver? Just go out RCA to the receiver in put.. so I can use a low imp Mic through the receiver?
Hmm tough call. You’d have to upload a video of diagram of what you’re trying to accomplish. Let me know if you do and I’ll give some feedback!
as a "tourist" who's been to Nashville around 15 times and also a working musician I feel like I need to chime in. I truly believe the musicians union needs to step in here (and I'm not typically a union guy). I'm also typically a supporter of small business owners but I'm siding with the musicians here. The union needs to organize that community and fight for better pay. The idea of a professional musician getting a base pay of as little as $25/gig is ridiculous. These venues are charging a LOT of money for drinks...I was charged $10 for a BOTTLE of Miller High Life at Nudie's which is repulsive. That bottle didn't cost them $1. I can support the business owner if their margins are more in line with reality...$5 let's say. But they're all doing it. I get that there's no cover at these bars and in fact the "cover charge" is built in to the price of the beer but still. A band should be guaranteed $400 for a four hour shift and single/duo's should be $100/person. Nashville is wildly busier than the first time I went there 15 years ago. It's also wildly more expensive that it was. The pay scale for musicians hasn't evolved the way that the price scale for drinks has evolved. Thanks for the informative post and good gigging to you!
You bring up some very valid points. Eventually, I’d like to have this discussion on a broader level because what is fair is not always what is in practice. I’ve had to be very selective about what battles I pick and when to fight them. Navigating a career in music is very much like a career in politics!
Excellent topic & kudos to you for opening up & divulging personal details. This is a form of mental therapy & as long as there is an audience whether 10 or 100 people, this is cathartic. A bit surprising but a lack of family support. Obviously there is deeper side, my impressions, & of course to respect privacy. As a🇨🇦 we have universal health care, in each province. Although the system is in in a mess here I have experienced nothing but fabulous care. Cataract surgery ( paid out of my pocket for 2 lenses to correct astigmatism which is not covered by provincial plans. Carpal tunnel both hands, surgically corrected. Fell on an uneven sidewalk ( yeah me being a bit of a space cadet while walking the dog) Fractured patella, emergency hospital visit, special brace to immobilize the knee, no surgery needed but a physio visit a month later. All this no charge, no invoice all covered by the at government. Even monthly meds just a small copay to dish out of my pocket. Wishing you the best over the next few weeks for the holidays. Always enjoy the live drum cam..
Thank you so much for the continued support and participation in the great community growing here!
Great message my brother...Salute from the mighty ATL.
Very good performance, unfortunately the sound mix and balance could have been a lot better.
Thanks for the feedback and I agree! Sometimes the audio from my external 4 track does not sync with the livestream! If there is a show/stream you’d like me to reupload and sync with better audio, let me know! I have so many in the archive that I need to update!
Aaro Paul is here just missed you live. Great job, the best 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ Paul
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the show!
Good to see you back at it Aaron!
Cool
Thank you for the update
It’s okay deal with what you have to we all understand!
Don't worry about the quality of your content that much. If it wasnt good enough your channel wouldnt be growing up. I started to follow you few months ago when your lives use to have like 3 viewers, and now its reaching over 100! That means something dont you think? Keep going, you're doing well! Cheers from Brazil!
Wow, thank you for such a humbling compliment and thanks for joining me on the journey. :)
Yes, when im looking for touring advice, I always consult young men fresh out of high school who have never been on an actual major tour but rather drove across state lines to play with someone no one has heard of. We don't ride in vans on real tours. Young man, stop trying to put the cart before the horse. Leave the advice to those who have actually done something.
I’m spoiled now hearing fantastic musicians do their thing creating music I love.💙💙💙💙💙
Thank you so so much for watching and helping to support this channel and keep streams alive!
Best stream ever, thank you!
Currently watching this I missef the time change and was waiting around at 1:30 my time😂
hahahah
Doggonit...I missed this!
Greetings to the wonderful gentleman🤍
👍😉🎼🌐👏👏👏👏🙏🌈
Great Camera angle - Love when I can see the venue a little bit! Never seen you play disco beats before!! Love it
I love playing as many different styles as possible!
Hey Aaron! Sounds awesome! Are you playing to a click or backing tracks on this gig?
Thanks for the compliment! All live and no tracks! Just good musicians!
