In 2003, while George W. Bush was preparing to set the world stage ablaze in Iraq, I was a six-year-old captivated by an underrated gem: Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. This action-packed adventure quickly became a standout in my gaming memories. But how does it stack up against Indiana Jones and the Great Circle? That’s a question we’ll tackle another time. For now, grab your favorite be...

Let's try some word association. First word: Thanks!
I never knew that Paul Denton was a Galaxy Quest fan! 19:29
Groovy baby 😎
I think the Tracer Tong ending is the way to go.
Your references are outta control man 😂
YESSSS another Strife Media video! Absolutely loved your Indy video bro. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks! Will do!
This game was good, that the Lego game used pieces of Emperor’s Tomb’s soundtrack. ua-cam.com/video/lvPDaRfx00E/v-deo.htmlsi=5EU1ZcL6rv9-09VV
"I'm undercover for the Chinese government" I really wonder which China she's talking about, given that it's 1934 and the Chinese Civil War is still going on. I would assume the Nationalists but then she wouldn't be against the Nazis would she? So I guess logically she must work for Mao and his communists.
You should review The Collective’s other games! Like Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Revenge of The Sith. That studio was on a roll with underrated classics back in the day.
I played Revenge of the Sith back in the day but never got around to playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'll need to look into that one at some point. Thanks!
The game is such a freakin classic I love it so much
I remember getting this on ps2 for Christmas, hard as hell as a kid but a class game. Great video 🙌
I never played this game before. I got into the PS2 console towards the end of its life cycle when I was little, I need to go back and visit this for myself I'm getting into Indiana Jones more I wanted to visit some of its expanded material outside of the films
The Fate of Atlantis disrespect is utter bullshit
Fate of Atlantis is a masterfully crafted game, i tried it once and got bored but when I ran out of indiana Jones games to play I played Fate of Atlantis on my phone and dude it was so good it got me into point and clicks
Really wish the new Indy game was 3rd person cause honestly the gameplay felt weird and clunky at times.
It may have been because I was young but I always remembered that goat man room puzzle to be so difficult. The fact that I was able to figure it out without youtube or google back in the day is amazing lol
I remember my dad purchasing the strategy guide so we could figure it out lol.
New sub 👍
You made me interested in a subject I know nothing about and have never thought of before 😂 Good job.
Love it! It’s Just the swimming level to find the coins is “awful”, the rest is good stuff!
That part is a drag for sure.
Incredible production value from such a small channel. Keep up the good work
The snake mission in the great circle brought me back to the kraken level in this game.
At times this game is more of an adaption of the matinee serials, Doc Savage and Alan Quatermain stories than the Indy films themselves. Immense charm. Enjoyed it more than Great Circle.
Infernal machine is much better. ^^
This actually looks way better than I thought it was going to. I missed this one as a kid. Damn the PS2 days were so fire! I miss them
Yessssss !!!! Loved this game !
This game is a gem! it belongs to a museum!
To fix the FPS Physics issue is simple, just use 59fps done XD.
Played it on GOG and lasted about 10 minutes before rage quitting cause the controls were possibly the worst I've ever seen in a game also the audio cut in and out and barley worked for me. I think it was overlooked for a reason
Who's we, zoomie?
Honestly this game’s combat was absolutely wild. I remember beating the hell out of the mercenaries in the jungle and Prague with it’s gorgeous atmosphere only for the Chinese mobsters to absolutely decimate me with their Kung Fu a couple missions later. Indy having an Asian QT gf is just the cherry on top of this delicious retro sundae.
I feel like almost no one, especially Indy fans, rarely ever mention Emperor's Tomb when discussing Indiana Jones games. To me, it is PEAK Indiana Jones gaming (have yet to play Great Circle, but it looks solid). Infernal Machine was the first Indy game I ever owned (Santa Clause sadly did NOT respond to my letter I wrote him back in xmas of 1994 for a copy of Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures on SNES, as well as an SNES console!) and it nailed everything that was expected at that time for a 3D Indy videogame. But then Emperor's Tomb came about and pretty much amplified everything ten-fold. Was it perfect? No, there were definitely bugs/glitches. But if you were someone who played Infernal Machine religiously like I did, you CAN'T tell me your jaw didn't drop when you saw what the whip mechanics were like in Emperor's Tomb. The time spent in IM digging your whip out of the inventory, lining up Indy to properly face the beam you needed to whip, and sitting through the damn whip swinging animation with the Indy theme jingle (or climbing up the whip), only for ET to come along and streamline that entire process into a single fluid action (I'm sure many of you are having nightmare flashbacks to the mine drilling car chase sequence in ET lol).
I never played the N64 game, but maybe someday I'll try it. I don't expect to enjoy myself though, lol.
@@StrifeMedia I played Infernal Machine in its entirety on PC 😎 I did end up nabbing a copy of the N64 version, but imo PC version is the way to go
I cannot tell you how many times I rented this game from Blockbuster as a kid. Great video 🫡
Wanna rewatch Indiana again!
To be honest I did not overlook this game as a kid. Played it a lot and loved it. Got Stuck on the kraken level and did not know how to beat it and those damn jelly fish that pull you closer to the kraken... But as soon as I found out you need to shot the eyes and finally beat it it was amazing. Never felt quite like that in gaming again to be honest. However a game which I think is overlooked is Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (on PC in my case). That game I played even more. The controls however are not modern and take some getting use to now. Also it can take a little bit of effort to get to work. There are however fixes for that out there. It did however make an impact on me in gaming.
Highly recommend the young Indiana Jones chronicles, you get to see Indy as a kid and teenager fight in WW1 fights a vampire (no not joking) look for ancient artifacts it's really good
I remember watching an episode or two on VHS.
@@StrifeMedia yeah they where Great I got the box set on eBay for like £20..Great video and liked the editing you definitely deserve more subs and you got one from me💪🏻
Exellent first video for your channel! More of these types please great quality
I loved this game as a kid
Yo, Fate of Atlantis is NOT a melatonin substitute! 😂
3:08 "dead corpse" hmmm. interesting.
Rented it from a Hollywood Video and it was over, instant classic for me.
Love the video dude! You've got the makings of a great UA-cam game channel. Lookin forward to more!!!
very nice editing
I am a fan of Indiana Jones since I was a little boy, and this is the first time I ever heard about this game.
Great video, bro! Tight comedic timing with your edits, and great video pacing. Earned a new sub!
Thanks for the sub!
Emporers tomb, Refrences to Army of Darkness And Napolean dynamite. You've distilled my childhood into a very good video. Subbed!
Core memory unlocked
😃 I always hear how terrible Indiana Jones games are and have been so surprised that no one ever talks about this one!!! When my Dad went to prison, I went to his GF house and stole his Xbox, and he had this game. It immediately became my favorite game on the console. I thought it was right up there with Halo and Spiderman.
The first few minutes were amazing, but then the pacing got way too slow for me to keep watching. Liked and subscribed either way.
The game that made me an Indiana Jones fan. I LOVE INDY! I’m super excited for Great Circle.
