The Fermi Paradox - Sci-Fi Short HD
Переглядів 35 тис.7 років тому
The Fermi Paradox is a short sci-fi film. The universe is both infinitely big and incredibly old - statistically we should have seen evidence of extraterrestrial life, but we have not. So where is everyone? An enthusiastic scientist explains the Fermi Paradox, and the theories that surround it's interesting argument. But as we start to learn more about the theory, there is a gradual realisation...

The Invention of the Perpetual Motion Machine is a short comedy/science-fiction film. Brilliant inventor, Jack, has built an impossible object: a perpetual motion machine. Now all he has to do is pitch his idea. After all, even impossible inventions need funding... Sarah's got that, "Sexy Librarian", vibe doesn't she. Great short film Mr. Young.
there would only be a paradox for an hour.
alien stand-up comedy
I loved you when you were the 9'ers QB
🤣you took all the shortcuts on this, except the humor.
The actress is cute but the story is non existent.
Honestly anyone who thinks "This great" is clearly new to the Fermi Paradox. This was incredibly boring and predictable. 1 ⭐
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
A complete waste of my time.
Beautiful woman.
Hilarious!
So, if you meet your doppelganger who happens to wear the same clothes as you that day, you can cheat her out of her glasses and phone by telling her about a time machine!
Maybe…the universe is very populated with life. For now, the reason we are not seeing any extraterrestrial life is because one of those life forms is keeping that from happening…for their reasons.
All I'm saying is this... If I saw humanity from afar, I wouldnt stop by and say hello either. Earth is the bad part of town.
All theories leave out God
He's been in the race for a long while, but finally got tossed out. Maybe he should wiggle his pinkie a few times to get people's attention back.
Excellent acting, this was super!
They'll be switching places indefinitely.
There already here...... ua-cam.com/video/HXlOrsFszgs/v-deo.html
Enjoyed this. Thanks
when science has no answer ...invent something idiotic..dumb peoplewill believe it...
very well acted... at the same time no surprise for someone who knows what the fermi paradox is...
Yah bro, definitely not a script....
Impressive actress
Each Human Being and each Human Civilisation is responsible for his/her Evolution.
UA-cam is the alien we are looking for....
well sorry but I disagree the Fermi paradox for me is easily explained and in fact it's not a paradox. You provide the answer yourself , the universe is so incredibly big and old that tells you that the distances are so great it seems very unlikely 2 species would even detect eachother and the other point the universe is so old the chances of any species contacting eachother at exactly the right time is also highly improbable. Also another thing, how would we communicate? If they contacted us it would likely be nothing we understand or could detect as if they travelled here they would be so far advanced they would be like Gods and in-fact that brings another reason unlikely for contact, why? why would they bother? unless they are watching us for an experiment then they would likely concele themselves anyway. Anyway just think the Fermi Paradox has always been strange to me....space is big REAL big, if the Sun was a pea, the nearest star would be like 200 miles aways (like a 2 hour plus drive) and we've travelled 5cm in this scale (to the moon) and the nearest star is 4.3 light years away (about 50,000 years for Voyager to get to) and the nearest advanced distance for an alien species to be from us based on a pretty respective (but ambitious) drake equation calcutaion is 200-300 light years away, that's just crazy far and for me makes alien contact very no extremely improbable but great short film love the actress and to be fair explains most the above I say anyway!
The time travel machine reminded me of something Calvin and Hobbs would make.
Is she from Bolton
Is this a palindrome?
So much talent 👏🏽
"I'm sure that if there is alien life in the universe, they're smart enough to stay away from us!".........William Pederson (CSI Las Vegas).
I just gave like 620. I hope she's still alive since the pandemic
Carl Sagan explained this years ago. Mankind has been around for appx 10,000 years, a blink of the eye in cosmic time. The chances of two planets having civilizations capable of space travel at the same time and being close enough to travel to each other are slim and none. The odds are very much against it ever happening.
What an excellent actress
Monologue is hard to pull off. Too long and not enough action by the alien at the end.
She was speaking to an alien. It wiped her memories. That could be another theory, that people may see extraterrestrials but all memory of them is wiped.
Or... We're surrounded by alien civilizations but they all know that in order to survive they have to remain very quiet.
Nhảm
Fermi's Paradox solved...when you don't want to answer the door to a*seholes! 😂 It never once struck her as odd the other character never said a word, still she spoke enough for both of them. Nice touch, making her forget the monologue. Lol.
They are already here, we just can't see them. Because we are blind.
The zoo's legitimate sure, look at the Federation in Star Trek. Just like some astrophysicist in the late 90's or early 2000's claims to have coined the term "warp drive".
Forget the 10 min or 1 hr.. Go back 3000 yrs..
Maybe we are them
Best answer ever! I bet someone could come up with a really cool story about how this came to be.
“Brevity is the soul of wit.” William Shakespeare
Exactly as the name suggests Pointless Time Travel Haha
She's good, I like her.
Well done! :)
Very enjoyable , thank you, great film 😀👍👍👍👍👍
Looks to warm to be shot on Boxing Day.
Even the Alien got bored and ran off in his hoodie. Who did she think she was talking to. Oh, I get it, the silent, tall, dark handsome type.
🔵 She is surely one brave soul to get into a strange box like that in the middle of the woods,.... For all she knew there could have been a mechanical ripper- grinder under the box that she would have been dumped into when she pressed the button!
The answer is simple We are the 1st.
