The thing I find fascinating about Nas from his interviews is how little interest he seems to have in the more notable moments of his career. Its like, if you bring up the Jay beef or something as benign as the 'Pac standoff, Nas will rush past it. Nas definitely prefers to talk about the present.

This was a great interview but I have a bunch of mixed feelings about what he said about Cam’ron and 50 Cent in the interview. 50 definitely screwed up tried to go at Nas and it was all because of the song they did with Jennifer Lopez. Both had great shots but Don’t Body Yourself man, that was good. But 50 can diss good like Nas in battles he’s proved it with the amount of legendary beefs he had with people including Nas. Cam also proved he’s good at batting too. You can hate Cam all you want and may have lost to Mase but you deny that he bodied Nas and Jay-Z in his disses. Both didn’t even bother to respond yet they quickly retaliated at Jim Jones immediately with vicious shots. Nas is one of my favorite rappers of all time but it’s true no disrespect. I’m not being biased just because Nas has won many beefs especially Jay-Z and he still can’t get loosing to Nas due to him trying to overshadow his releases 50 even called Jay out for that. He has proven to a master in beefing but he is right about the current state of hip hop though. Hip Hop nowadays is garbage with these wack ass mumble rappers m. I enjoyed this interview a lot. I’m happy he was able to express his opinions about stuff despite people not always agreeing with it. Nas definitely is a smart person and a true icon for real.

Nas became my favorite artist of all time after listening to Illmatic from beginning to end. If Pac and Biggy would've survived the 90s and squashed their beef they couldve done shit with Nas and they would've all 3 been the absolute pinnacle of rap. The Mumblers wouldn't stand a chance
