Filipe, I don't follow classical music that closely so I don't know " who's who" but I know that if you aren't already famous you surely should be. I have never heard anything so rhapsodically beautiful in all my 64 years. Thank you for a flawless and heartfelt rendition of a perfect song.

Is there someone out there who can provide some background to this song? I know it's basically about unrequited love, but is it from some Tongan legend or myth? Who composed it and under what circumstances? It's so beautiful, and though I don't understand the lyrics word for word, there's a wonderful poesy to it as well. They say Italian is the best language for song, especially opera, but Tongan sounds beautiful too.

Please get a producer who loves your voice as much as we do. Record a dozen Island classics like Efiafi. We'll buy them. As for this performance it was beautifully sung. One last thought. You and the other gifted Island performers should write an opera about the history of your people told through the songs of two young people in love.

Proud to see you last night a fellow Tongan here in Germany at the Hamburg State Opera House. Your Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutte was wonderful! Your young voice was full of magic with such control and beautiful lyrical to listen too! I can’t wait to hear more from you as your career begins in the opera world! By the way I hope one day we can do something with the ukulele keeping our Pacific Island Culture out there to inspire young talents from the Islands! So its rare to see a Tongan singing in an Opera but in Germany and singing in Italian! I brought my two teenage sons to watch you and you inspired them more than you know! I grew up in Tonga and now reside in Canada but this song makes me miss the island so much.
