for everyone that has had a ferris stander with a transaxle input shaft pulley problem here is a short video on how to replace the input shaft without splitting the case I hope this helps I know a lot of people that have just replaced the transaxle assembly because of this problem there is a update fan hub kit they came out with so if the nut backs off the new hub is made of aluminum and will likely ruin the hub instead of the shaft. I would recommend just getting the whole seal kit for the transaxle it has alot of parts in it you'll need and the shaft only comes with a new bearing so keep that in mind.
