Sounds like you are trying to convince yourself dude, that you didn't make a great choice. Here in Australia that thing is $12,000. One could get a really decent Japanese camera with a couple of primes and a world trip thrown in. Probably be a bit of change left over!

Great video man! Loved seeing all your pics, especially the Halloween ones! For me, I always have that little bit of buyer's remorse on most gear for a week or so, and eventually once I get to enjoy the gear, that all goes out the window. 😅 Btw, finally got to update the firmware on the FX3 without any hiccups 😂

Had I known it was coming out I would have waited, but I am still happy with my Q3 28. Likely my main travel camera for years to see. Well you know how we got GAS so we’ll see. 😂

I have the original Q3 with the wider lens, I do find it a bit too wide. Not sure I'd like 43mm, I think 35mm would be perfect, but obviously too close to the 28mm (more like 24mm). Overall I love the camera, and out of dozens of pro cameras I've used, this one is the best for family, kids running, lifestyle shoots, but can't get away from the wideness of the lens. I don't like to crop in as I bought it for 60MP.

My first SLR was a Nikon FE which I bought in 1981 and later the FM, and up until now I bought several Nikons which I initially used for wedding photography, now only use as hobby. I got used to using the FE/FM for many years and they were simple and great cameras. The DF is a modern interpretation of those and I borrowed one from my sons friend for a week and I thought it was great. I couldn't fault it other than the rear screen, that I think it should have been articulated for more flexibility. The images out of the camera are just stunning. Yes the lenses are still evolving so no issue there. Cheers

Loved that shot at 01:51! And sad to hear you didn't have as much of a good time at the hawker place. I remember getting some beef rendang in that area. Didn't think it would be that spicy. Ended up sweating so much, and it was during the summer heat too. It's great seeing all of these places again! Also, was that Climb Central at 10:09? 😄

Love the cinematic nature of the entire video. Great work! Love shutter angle on my LUMIX S5ii. Just takes the guesswork out of remembering to change your shutter speed to double your frame rate.

Except the ergonomics.the picture quality I’m getting with Nikon zf with 20mm f1.8s is stunning.also good camera for night photography What I don’t like in zf 1. Shutter release button 2. Only small aperture display on top 3. Pseudo leather like pattern around the zf body will come out after some time(couple of my friend’s zf also) Highly appreciated for the efforts,love ❤ from india

Resolve, I’ve just purchased a Nikon ZF but also have a Leica m8 and Olympus E-M1X, I always find myself reaching for the M8, I purchased the other cameras because I thought I was missing out on something like wildlife photography with the em1x but it just doesn’t inspire. Anyhow great thoughts on your journey 👌

If my wife wasn't in LA last week with me, I would have likely had a Leica by now lol. Impulse buyer too. But I got some good shots with the Zf. Love the end screen. Time I update mine.
