I’m Anna, Alex’s little sister. Our mom works at a hospital and I’ve heard there is a shortage of face mask because of Corona Virus. So I wanted to make sure she had enough. We found a hospital asking people to make them and showing you how to do it, so I made my first one and making another 11 today! Make some for your hospital! #GetMePPE

Karting How To Series - EP 1 Introduction
Переглядів 5337 років тому
New to karting in the Micro/Mini classes? We're introducing a series of videos to help new parents of Cadet karters. We came into karting knowing nothing, and three years later we are consistently on the podium. There is no manual for how to go kart racing, so we want to create one! We will go through our Tony Kart Rookie Chassis, and using our Rotax, Rok and now IAME engines, we will show you ...
Check out our new SureCan Fuel Can!

Alex demonstrates our new SureCan Fuel can with its nozzle that is at the bottom of the can and can rotate to allow for easier fueling, and its trigger mechanism that allows for precise fuel cut off.
hi nice video i have a question what is this in 8.39 ? and can we created 2/3 profil for other pilote ? ths you :)
So that’s it? You just wrap it around the ignition wire…. Huh.. simple thank you for this information.
Where is the electricity plug?
One question .... intuition tells me that the rubber gasket should be between the mount and the Mychron5 ... and then the metal washer between the nut and the mount ... is that right? Thanks for the info about the RPM setup ... I was curious about how that was done!
Thank you for the video! Trying to install our 4 but it won't mount right on the front. But You had my subscription click at....My Dad will be walking us through and I will be doing what he says 🤣😂🤣
Do you have any idea how to install a water temp sensor for the 2T?
I didn’t understand the RPM wire 😭 did you connect something in that cable? Sorry, I don’t know much about this kind of things!
No, RPM cable wraps around the spark plug wire several times, then on the mycron, you simply route the other end up through the small holes towards the bottom, you route it up, then back down the second hole. No connector like the temp lead. Does that help?
Alex Jacky wow, that easy? The vibration of the cable makes the rpm gauge work?
roberto gonzalez no, the mycron picks up the electric signal from the spark plug and is able to determine RPM from that.
Alex Jacky thanks!
I'm new to karting, so this might be a dumb question. Why would you say those pads are shot? Is it just glazed over? Could you use emery cloth and make them work again? It seems like that is a ton of pad to throw out.
Dallas J at some point the pistons can’t push the pads to the disc any longer, so the brakes get soft. We typically refresh the pads every race day as you suggest, but at some point that, combined with shims aren’t enough. At the end of the day, high performance karts perform best with new parts, pads, chains, sprockets, etc. If you are out having fun and just driving you can get away with stretching life on parts. Cheers and have fun!
@@AlexJacky That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info.
Ok. Tq..
The more coils you wrap around the ht cable, the stronger the induced signal will be at the other end. If you double the number of coils, it should double the signal strength. It wont effect the measured rpm at a different rate, just each pulse will pull more power from the ht lead. A few dozen crude coils wont effect ignition either.
thanks for this, i realy needed it, i already knew how to mount it infront of the weel but i wasnt comfertabel with it there so this video helped me learn how to mount it behind the wheel
Thanks for the help. I just got a Mychron 3 and didn’t know how the RPM wire was installed. Also props on having your son do it, start them young
Thanks Cody! We appreciate that! We need to do some more videos! He loves doing them!
Good stuff, keep it up! Wish my old man would have gotten me started in karts as a kid. With that said, just don't be 'that dad' out there on the racetrack, you know what I mean..... hehehe.
Nice video. Keep them coming.
we will have a new one up in at least 2 weeks
