Hello! I'm a public domain advocate who loves movies and animation. I love to do self-archival work as well if possible, but that is more limited. My interest is in digital collections among other things.
Cops (1922) - Public Domain Scoring
This is an edit of Buster Keaton's 1922 short film, Cops. All of the music included is public domain in the United States for both the composition and the recordings. When this is being posted only sound recordings fixed through the end of 1923 are in the public domain. All sources for the recordings are below and a list of the works is briefly featured at the end. The only other changes I made were to replace the title cards with my own replications and to snip or shorten a few frames throughout the piece to allow better syncing of musical moments. Please enjoy!

This film is in the public domain! It did not have a proper copyright renewal. This version has slight watermarking at the start and ending. You might know this work from Better Call Saul. Enjoy!

Presented is the entirety of the short film directed by Tex Avery in 1949. This is the same director who did the Droopy Shorts and Red Hot Riding Hood. I am able to upload it in full due to its public domain status. Please enjoy!

From 1992, found this on an old VHS tape that my grandfather had made. The ad seems novel with a big NBA star in it.

I pulled this from the Tigger-ific Tales VHS, and it gave me some nostalgia so I wanted to share. It features a few clips from the show while advertising some home media. The sets are Friendship, Playtime, and Learning. This is uploaded for the purpose of education for the viewer on the history of this piece of animation. I do not own this, and if the Disney Corporation wants it taken down then...

I like it without the music.
Like Tom & Jerry its always the samedi scenario of the "victim" persecuting the "bad guy" : what a poorly imaginated scenario!
I use to watch Winnie the Pooh all the time when I was 6 years old and I still love the movies of them and even Christopher Robin movie. Pooh has a very big heart and tigger was very funny and enthusiastic. And now I’m 19 years old almost 20 years old and I still love Winnie the Pooh movies. I miss Sterling Holloway. He has the best Pooh voice in the world.

❤❤
When it came to Gopher, i always thought the "Im not in the book but I'm at your survice" meant that Gopher wasnt physically in the book seen during the film and acted like a puppet.
I love the classic Looney Tunes. They always make me laugh. 😂
😊😊😊😊😮
This is 🔥
I find it hilarious only the dog couldn’t sleep but the owner was well rested after all that noise

I Remember Having One Of Those Winnie The Pooh VHS’s When I Was Little
What’s the whole video
Maybe you should tell Fans that Big Corporate is eliminating the DVD industry for cable subscription. I went into Best Buy and the DVD section is gone... A lot people buy DVD but not everyone archives them for the future. To get rid of DVD's, legitimizes piracy.
15:39 Hearing the late Paul Winchell as the voice of Tigger was great when he was doing it. When I saw Jim Cummings doing it, I was so happy and impressed. Paul will be so proud of him.🥹
I remember having this episode on VHS but since English is not my native language it was removed the voices of humans and the phone , sounded a bit strange back then come to think of it
5:47 cartoon error: that dog had a bandage on his nose and now it’s gone

sterling Holloway as Winnie the Pooh was the best
So would that mean Cinderella was Walt's favourite film?
Where is the full video?
Is Corey Burton narrating ?
Sounds like him.
@bryanferratt6598 How beautiful that the most prolific voice actor narrates a documentary focused on the best children's character in all of fiction
You really can't beat an old classic
This was Great...... What happened to hollywood? They turn out such garbage today.
Buster was a swell lad.
YT allows the viewer to adjust the crank-speed (hit the tiny ship’s pilot-wheel in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then select ‘playback speed’ at the bottom then select .75% - which makes the movement a lot closer to ‘natural crank speed’ - great job otherwise in digitising the original 1922 negative using AI/CGI - sure beats hiring a large computer team out of Mumbai to spend 5 months going through each frame-by-frame !! AI cleanups & digitation of celluloid negatives from c 1910-1940 sure have come along way over the past 3 years or so ! Bravissimo !! Now all they have to do is add AI/CGI natural Colour and add sound & Bob’s-yer-Uncle, voilla !!
