This video compares a high-end Longacre digital tire gauge 0-30 psi to two of the Amazon-recommended Jaco digital tire gauges (0-100 psi and 0-200 psi). Do they give the same reading? There are several good video games to practice your driving skills and racecraft. We go through the driving games that have the most relevance to karting, including Kart Kraft, Kart Sim Pro, F1, Automobilista 2, and iRacing. There is not a single "best" game for karting practice, but there are certainly pros and cons to each one. 0:00 Intro 0:21 KartKraft 3:10 Kart Racing Pro 4:27 F1 2022 6:15 ...

Bent your kart frame? Here's how I fixed it! | Karting Noob
Переглядів 12 тис.Рік тому
I took my junior karter to a new track, and he crashed into a barrier on his first lap. Even after fixing a twisted tie rod, spindle, and steering shaft, he complained that his kart wasn't turning properly. It turned out his kart was bent! While a kart shop can fix it properly, we tried the quick fix DIY option and it actually worked out "OK". This is the first time doing something like this, s...
I race Micro max
And I am a girl
Good video
47 got a bump to pass by the driver behind him and resulted in him getting off line and into the marbles.
Genius! 🎉
Did you get to see the other drivers gopro footage?
I hate hearing and seeing that rim scratching on the concrete as you turn it around!
Glad you're OK, I wad pitted next to you. I'm in the 868.
Too many of today's kart racers are reckless and do many dangerous things on the track. Take off all the body work and all of the nerf bars and bumpers. And most of them would quit racing. I started racing karts in the 60's. We didn't have all that crap on our karts back then. Everyone raced clean. Because if you did the crap todays drivers do. You paid for it. Painfully.
Standing starts in lo206 are so goofy
why
@@adamharris5003 because its a 206 lmao

This nr. 22 is he blind or slow in the head or in any other way incapable of simply avoiding the spinner kart? Holy shit, he needs to go and find another hobby FAST!
NICE! thanks for sharing muh dude
💕Wow🧡🧡🧡🧡💛🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
You should never use any measurement device that far outside of its calibrated range. A 200 psi gage is for truck tires, not kart tires.
Great vid and nice examples!
Wont the frame just bend back again after a few sessions?
Nope! So far, it's held the same since after it was "fixed", and lap times are within 0.1s of prior to the accident. The professional repair is basically to use a long pry bar (such as an old axle), but the principle is the same.
What hubs do you use ?
I was just asking about this on Reddit because I’ve iracing for years but just started with an LO206 IRL. This is a very well done video too. This channel deserves to grow, you gained a subscriber.
I wanna know about kartracing pro;is the physics realitic or the game is just for joy, I will start my career but I will have to travel to my home country for each praictice which means more cost so I will go to practices less beacuse cant fund it ,I am searching for a sim which will give me feel of a kart handling ,not too acccurate but slides and tyre physics will be enough for me
Yes, the realism in kart racing pro is quite good, but it's impossible to replicate the feeling of a kart in a video game. The great thing about kart racing pro is you can download it free and play the demo track. But if you drive lot, will it make you faster in real life? I'm not convinced. Just everything feels too different for me, basic things like the pedals and seating position. It's still fun but I'm not sure it's a good "training". Hard to describe, I feel like I'm "fighting it" more and reacting, whereas with iRacing I feel more "connected" to the car. For "training", I think it's more important to feel connected and be able to make small adjustments and feel the difference.
@@KartingNoob thx I appreciate the answer,Than I gotta Start Iracing 🤷🏻♂️
MAN THANK YOU I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING FOR THIS FOR 3 MONTHS LOVE YA
Hmmm you take a lot of time and you really abuse you rims. The time you take to get your tools ready i have all old tires off and new tires in by hand. Probably even both sets. The only thing you need is a good beadbreaker.
also little tip just put the tire in a water bucket. then you do not have to wait a hour to see if you did a proper job and the tire does not leak air!
What tyres are you using? Some brands and compounds are very hard, especially when cold. A Dunlop DFH senior tyre for instance is a tyre you're gonna have a bad time if you're only using a bead breaker but no tongs!
Can't be fixed that way. What's the metal is bent I'd actually become stiffer if he managed to get it back to where it was dramatically affecting your handling regardless if you get it exactly back in place or not. Can I get you through that days events but it will have to be fixed properly
Adding heat to a new tire is adding a 'heat cycle' to the tire
Putting the new tire on usually doesn't require heat, but I'll do anything to get the old one off!
You broke the bead incorrectly. You always break the inside first.
Interesting! Care to share why? I haven't found that it makes much difference..
Cool test. I've just bought a digital cheap one too. The price of the expensive ones are not worth it for me. Rather put that money in a set of lasers.
Why you don't put the washer up to the stub axle?...and you are ready😅
Again? I see, nice graphics added into it.
Hello I am having a same issue but have a question, are the tires supposed to remain on the ground at all times full lock both ways, or is one side SUPPOSED to lift up? When I turn right, both tires stay on the ground, when I turn left, right front tire goes about an inch in the air. Which side do I jump on?
Different chassis behave differently and it will vary depending on your caster/etc settings, but in general, one side will lift up when you turn. It should definitely be the same on both sides, though. As far as which side to jump on, easiest way is to follow the video to measure and then jump on the side that's too high.
You steer to one side and the kart lift up that's kart jacking Helps the kart since a kart does not have a differential like a car.
Your videos are phenomenal, straight to the point, very very useful tips that you learned from experience. I hope more are coming this season Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks for the info! We subscribed!
Well done from down under
Im not sure thats very safe. I know when I bent my chasis it was so slight but my bossman said we have to scrap it so just wondering
That’s only if you have the money for a new chassis, you can always bend it back to “zero” and race, although it will not be the same as if it was never bent
Bummer, Get a new bossman. You know what happens when you spell boss backwords U get double S O B.
Great going,best of luck
Thick as fuck. 😂
