I know what you mean during the day, but all night long hearing it was annoying beyond belief. We were a group of six and our hut was the only one with this problem. @@kevingetsfit

Yep, they can do afternoon dives at any of their regular places. Make sure to book in advance.

Like anywhere else, the rates keep going up and up but honesty, the rates at this place were lower then any other trip I have planned this year. Two years ago I paid $1750 for a Single Occupancy including flight from Toronto roundtrip as I was staying there solo. This year it was $2050 for a Double Occupancy each for my Son and I.

But I would hope for some sorr of service. Haha.

Getting the big package is the only way to go. :) I would also recommend getting Nitrox certified because they provide the Enriched Air for free. I can usually get 22 dives in during the week. Best dive locations: 1) Paradise Reef - about 45 feet deep 2) Felipe Xicotencatl Wreck - VERY cool wreck purposely sunk. If you get there at the right time then you can see the submarine come by and check you out on the wreck diving it. 3) Santa Rosa Wall - Max about 100ft I can't wait to go back in February.

As someone who enjoys a nice beach, that does NOT sound like a good time but I guess it does work. ;) When we went out to the water there it was probably the WORST time as the waves were really bad. I can see this working a lot better on a calm water day. :)

Were there a lot of mosquitoes?

@nadsingh I have always gone in Feb and have never seen any, but they do give you all natural bug repellant in the rooms. With that in mind, there probably is some there.

@@nadsingh depends on time of year.... in summer yes there can be but watch out for sand fleas. They aren't too bad and the water is worth it

Yeah... It's one of those things you never expect to happen at a 5 star hotel ever. You take it for granted that at the very least, you will have towels. hahaha. The hotel was clean, it was nice and the grounds were nice so it was easy to get past the whole towel thing but it was absolutely an annoyance. We ended up buying some $30US beach towels from the gift shop to make do.

@@kevingetsfit I agree. Omg lol that’s horrible. I had to use the one towel for my child to dry her off after she got out of the pool. They didn’t have any towels at the pool either and so I had to go to the hotel and get the towel she bathed with to dry her off. I went back to ask for towels multiple times and they never had any the whole day. I really do appreciate the towels more than ever now at a hotel so I agree. I did like the hotel but they could use some towels and give the guests a list of events everyday so everyone is informed

I had clean towel every day! And for pool you could just ask next to the pool

@@jessykobel5803 yes I asked them at the pool for towels and they were out lol I liked the resort and will go back and bring my own towels 😂 glad you had a towels

@@Looopita our room overlooked the pool tower booth so we got in a habit of standing on the balcony waiting for the towel guy to refill the booth and then sprinted down to try and grab one. :) We got good at it!

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a night out of drinking, dancing, performances then it is exactly that. If that is not your scene then there is absolutely other more timid options for people that aren't used to being in more lively scenarios.

Hey man, it's really not that big of a deal. :) Just ignore the stories I tell you of any issues that happen here and there. haha

Would love to but I was there in 2022 and it was just a video of my personal experience there. I only just started doing "Reviews" of places that I visit. If I ever go back there then I will for sure do a proper full review.

We complain? We actually didn't complain at all. :) This is a review so we let people know what had actually happened and we lived with the issues we had in the end which turned out to be an amazing vacation. The point of a review is to review what we experienced. haha.

Yikes, I am glad we didn't have that experience! But glad to hear that you were able to make the best of it at the end.
