And they were Samantha Peszek and Tim Daggett covering Gymnastic events on NBC.,So I listen over and over and again and again to their comments and I believe what they said. Why I believe it. Tim Daggett is a former Gymnast and an Olympic Gold Medalist. He can also be seen and Heard as a color Commentator for televised Gymnastics events on NBC. He's been doing this for decades.
As a gymnastics judge I find it quite hilarious how so many people suddenly think they are experts in gymnastics as they comment on this controversy. Chiles score was objectively wrong by 0.1, they got her difficulty wrong on the initial score, video evidence proved that, the judges admitted it, the judges changed the score. The 60 second rule is arbitrary nonsense that is now being used to stop judges from getting the score right which proves that rule (which has been around for only a few years and should never have been a rule in the first place) shouldn’t exist. Sabrina may have touch her foot out of bounds at the 34 second mark as she turns, she also may not have, but that’s not for the judges who everyone is mad at to decide, that’s the call of a line judge. The head judge can overrule the line judge, but that’s rare cause the line judge is only there to watch the line and say if the athlete touches out of bounds. So it’s hard to question that person when you are watching the whole routine and they are just watching for out of bounds and nothing else.
No doubt she deserved a medal, but people also are fixating on feet being out of bounds when that’s actually not the main deduction factor on floor routines. Not super straight legs, leg gaps, and, in Voinea’s case, the lack of mandatory choreographic elements like either a standing or seating pirouette, which were performed by every other finalist, was what actually hurt her score the most in my understanding of the sport (so, def medal material, but she was not gold).
Oh stop, whining, and being sore losers. Her coach should’ve put in an inquiry and this performance was mediocre at best. The Olympics is over get over it.

She was the rightful Bronze medalist at Paris...she did 4 tumbling passes..25 percent more than some others..did Jordan or Ana do 4 tumbling passes? She has beautiful artistry.
Coming back to this performance and they said her difficulty was higher than Andrade so sounds like she got cheated out of a gold medal. That would Jane put Andrade in silver and Simone in bronze

Honestly, after watching all the routines this one is the best imo. All the girls did phenomenally!! However, when it comes to the debate, I think Sabrina’s routine was smoother, more artist, and like they said she has 2nd highest difficulty. It’s shocking to watch this performance KNOWING she didn’t make it onto that podium!

By far the best floor routine compared to the others. We all know it! It's all rigged! I was so shocked when the score was given - so wrong! She should have got the gold medal without a doubt.

For me Voinea is the Jade Carey from Romania: tumbling power without artistry, very bad choreography, bad form and scary landings (as if she was about to collapse or something). And also, she rushes so much as if she wanted to finish the routine as fast as possible. She just goes from step to step like following a book of instructions, her performance is not enjoyable at all. BUT she DID NOT step out of bounds, so she should be the bronze medallist.

No grace, no fluidity. Don’t like her choreography either, if you could even call that choreography. It s just tumbling after tumbling
