What's so sad is that while Girls Aloud played sold out stadiums in Europe, SWV (Sisters With Voices) and Xscape did shows together and played in smaller venues. They along with En Vogue & TLC were four of the hottest R & B/Pop Girl Groups of their time and came out of it with next to nothing.

I love their backing dancers. They remind me of Children who could have been conceived after Paris Is Burning, that some folks call the Blueprint for Pose & Rupaul's Drag Race. Cheryl was so fierce but since she started dancing lessons as a little girl it's no surprise. I read her Book and how nasty the little girls were to her because she was on scholarship. I know that they rue how mean they were to her.

i promise i never actually disliked nadine, but this edit "saves" the song for me a bit. it sounds like cherry cola for my ears. that said, i wonder how nadineless recordings surfaced this late in history, i could have listened to jump for a couple of decades instead of today.

i like this version more than i thought i would, also for the "raw" editing i guess. but i thought Nadine was recording all demos so i'm surprised there are some alternative recordings, like Nicola singing the first verse here.

such an underrated track, goes verry well with the likes of here we go or we wanna party. wouldn't be surprised if it started as a moonbaby track.

I was working abroad when Girls Aloud were in their heyday. I heard their records being played, but it was only when I returned to England in 2006 that I actually saw some of their performances on TV and I got to see what a beautiful bunch of young ladies they were. I know that Cheryl gets the most publicity, and there is no doubt that she is beautiful, but in my humble opinion the girl who has it all is the Irish girl Nadine, she has a fantastic vocal range and true film star looks. I am really surprised that she is not famous as a solo artist. Please do not give me a hard time for my post, I am only stating MY OWN opinions.
