Note the still standing catenary pole structures from the Pennsylvania Railroads days of electrified routes. The old Harris interlocking tower is also visible near the Amtrak station.

I have seen Maryville bridge hundreds of times but I never saw it from the vantage point of the drone. Again. AMAZING. I have watched trains up in this area since 1987 but these videos are special.
I don’t usually do this but I just absolutely had to this time. I watched this video and another and I have to tell you that your productions are amazing. The videos themselves are beautifully done. The music is amazing icing on the cake. Years ago when I was married my wife came from South Williamsport so I did a lot of traveling around that area and on Rt 15 up and down because we lived in Md and traveled that way. It brought back great memories. Thank you. I’m a fan 😊

Unfortunately Wildcat was a shell of its former self. I always rode it several times per visit and enjoyed it, but it was sad watching it grow less popular each year. After they closed the photo booth, I started worrying that its days were numbered. But each year I went back and it was still operating, until the unexpected announcement in July. Wildcat was best in its original form with the PTC trains. It ran rougher with them, but noticeably faster than it ever did with the Millennium Flyer trains. The airtime was much stronger and the pacing was nonstop til the end. If you watch old videos of it and the speed it went into the brake run with, you'll see for yourself. I have to say I am definitely looking forward to riding the new RMC, but I am sad that the original GCI coaster couldn't receive an overall and some modifications from the company themselves to keep it a true wooden coaster but make it better than ever.
what drone are you using here?
Be careful how close you fly to the construction. Example around the 2:30 mark. Also the geese. Both are legal violations you don’t want to interfere with. Great footage but please be respectful of the park and the safety of the workers.
An rmc is just what this park needs this coaster is gonna be great

Again, just fantastic footage. You have a great eye and skills for these videos! Try this … start on one side of the Rockville Bridge, zip thru an arch to the other side maintaining sight on the train, lol
