And if you neglect this area it can result in back pain. When twists provide you with no relie...

      You can watch the whole series on 7 plus for free. I watched it last year for the first time. It took me 15 years to summon the courage. It wasn’t that bad. I thought it was quite funny at times. But it’s hard to watch your life on public display. I’d never recommend anyone to do reality tv. But it was a new genre back then and we were naive.

      @@darrengroves632 interesting question. I’ve no idea. I know you can get radio stations from around the world so maybe you can get mainstream tv. Channel 7 on demand is called 7 plus. Might just need to Google. 😀.

    Hi Natalie! I messaged your sister Amber last weeks asking if she has ever injured her hips while running as that's what i've done. So she told me to do your yoga classes especially your hip and hamstrings yoga session which i just finished. I've got alot of work to do!!! I am not flexible whatsoever!! It was so hard..Its harder than a run or boxing session hahahaha!! However i feel great after it, so thank you! I love running but my hips have turns which one is going to play up. I hope i can get back to pounding the pavement again one day! Any advice you can give me?

    • @NataliePrigoone
      @NataliePrigoone 4 роки тому

      Thank you. I’m so glad you liked the class. I too have had some problems with my hips last week which resulted in a painfully sore lower back. So much so that I couldn't run last week. I had been doing 10km runs at least 3 - 4 times per week., But last week I could not run at all. I could barely move without pain. This was a huge problem. I booked in to my chiropractor as the usual poses that fix my back were not providing relief. Normally hamstring stretches, twists, glutes and triangle pose works me. But not this time. Nothing worked. I was still waiting for my Chiro appointment to roll around but I needed help immediately. Finally I focussed on hip flexors. I did some long holds. Like really long, for several minutes, each side. I did them in the morning, at night, and when I was watching tv. Picture a deep lunge. This worked a miracle for me. By the time I went to the Chiropractor a few days later I had no pain but he still adjusted me for my uneven hips. Some things to consider are: 1. Shoes. Have your shoes been fitted for you by a professional the caters to your unique shape and foot strike pattern? 2. Are you running on an even surface? I did not. I took a long run on the sand which had quite a camber. Normally, I run on a flat path. 3. Stretch after the run. It doesn't even have to be straight after but on the same day. I did not stretch. I know that sounds surprising, but I probably had a good reason (can't remember). Stretching ilopsoas minor and major as well as the pectinous is so important. These muscles shorten as you run. They are small but super important. I will make a video just for runners this week. I'll keep it short. But until then...You could also get great benefit from my Sunrise yoga class, that is also great after a run. It's long though.

    • @rochellepaniora4605
      @rochellepaniora4605 4 роки тому

      @@NataliePrigoone Thank you for such a detailed reply! i will certainly look at all those things you have considered. One thing i have been doing is some long holds, like in a deep lunge, for at least 3 minutes each side. I went for a run this morning and after 2.5kms i had to stop and walk as i could really feel the pain in my left hip! so ive got some work to do there a think before ill be good to head back out for a run. I always run on a flat surface.
