Try It Yourself
Приєднався 3 лис 2011
In these videos I look at every day issues and ask if its something I can tackle myself.
Most things just require a bit of time and patience and i hope to show you that you are capable in most cases of resolving these problems and hopefully avoid having to buy a service or call an engineer.
I also review some of the products and equipment used in the videos to give an honest opinion on their use and suitability.
Thank you for watching

Immersion Heater Fail
Initially I thought the Eddi had failed as it showed the water had reached temperature limit and we had a tank of cold water!.
It turned out that the immersion heater had got too hot and tripped!.
In this video I will show you how to reset the element.
This may be a sign that the immersion heater is on its way out......

Todella hyvät ohjeet. Kiitos, tuli tarpeeseen 👍
I'm having problem with fridge it's not cooling freezer works just fine I have reset it and I hope it will go back to normal my fridge is hotpoint ff200e
Many thanks, saved me a lot of hassle today and solved the problem! 👍🏻
Finally I hope this will be the solution. ALL other stupid videos just tell you to check the inlet and waste water pipes. Thank you ❤
Thank you for posting this. I followed you instructions and although my Bosch had a slightly different snap fit cover over the impeller I have successfully repaired it and it is now working again. Hopefully for the next 10 years! Thanks again
Brilliant stuff, thank you for this. Sweetcorn stuck in the spinny thing for us. You saved the environment the cost of new dishwasher. Greta should sing your praises.
Hi, I want to pay you for advice on setting this up in my home. Do you have an email I could reach out to?
Just opened up mine. Looks awful. Will clean tomorrow and report back. Thanks for this great video
Thank you, very helpful
You’re a life saver- thanks so so much
Thank-you.
I would not advise doing this u shouldnt be blanking an egr with a car that has a dpf it can cause back pressure and explode the turbo it needs properly deleted throttle body cooler and remapped out along with the dpf sensors mapped out as the dpf needs to be removed also which contains 2 sensors that measure air flow in and out
Very helpful thanks for the detailed guide. Much appreciated
Can't see a thing! Very frustrating. Please use a torch?
I’m looking for a submersible pump that could be used for a similar situation. Do you have any recommendations?
Do u no haw to bypass the 20minit safety cut off
Thank you
Well it’s Easter bank holiday in 2024 and the old Bosch Exxcel gave up the ghost. I thought I had had my money’s worth £40, 14 years ago. Then after a quick Google I found this video, as you noted the little float was totally fouled up. Half an hour later, it was all cleaned out... time to test it.. My original symptom was still there, but there’s a part 2... Did it all again with second larger chamber... And Bobs your uncle, to be honest the small water way under the float was totally blocked, I don’t know how it was working. The machine lives once again. Thanks ya little legend!
That’s great I’m delighted it worked out
Tą blaszkę z puszki to możesz sobie wsadzić w tyłek przepali ją w ciągu tygodnia
Great video, thanks. How is the shower in the rain, do you dinner it? Also, had the chlorinated water effected the shower internals?
In my case the valves were clean and working correctly. The culprit was the flow meter.
Thank you thank you thank you, I followed steps in part 1 but soon discovered the light went on again and no water is coming in, I had a feeling the other part might be the problem, as it looked awful, but thought it would be too difficult to take out and apart. Thanks to this video I did it and now have a working dishwasher again! And consider myself a genius, though I wouldn't have done that without your videos. 😊
Can i still reset my fridge even if it's not blinking?? only fridge is not cooling.. freezer is ok
It is 2024, and your video is still saving the day. I can't thank you enough for this. Worked like a charm, and it's as good as new 🙏🙏
Pleased to hear it
Thanks for this. Had to find out how to get top and side panel off in another you tube vid. But this vid helped me fix the check water warning light issue... The plastic thing on the side was all clogged up with foul smelling gunk. Cleaned it out, reassembled & it's now working fine. Many thanks again.
Good video thanks
Thanks for posting this, mine was constantly trying to drain and would do so with the door open. The fix was the plastic unit on the side as you described in the video. Cleaning it out thoroughly, fixed it. Thanks again!
Its too dark to see what you are doing, but the info was good. Sadly, mine is completely different to this one. Thanks.
Brilliant stuff, slightly different layout but the float valve was clogged up with eeermm something alien looking! All cleaned and working now.
Did everything still no water getting into the machine . Please advice
I have just bought the 25 litre version of this and new to air compressors. Any tips for using one?
There’s absolutely no need to remove the callipers to swap the pads. Simply remove the pin using a 5mm Allen bolt and remove the spring and pads out the top. ua-cam.com/video/c2PPfEWXSGA/v-deo.htmlsi=b3hOoQurdYhJgcuC
Can you please make a video on freezer working but fridge not.
Hello. How do you remove the side panel fully? I've taken off the screws at the front but it seems to have something else securing it as it isn't coming away easily and I don't want to wrsk or force the panel put if possible. Could you help and give me a clue as to how please. Thanks
Thanks for the video, I think my problem should be solved. I cut the rubber tubing and ran a thin wire from the evoporator down the drain hole. Much appreciated.
By Cheers you’re video helped me
Used this yesterday. Cracking video thanks. I would never of found them otherwise.
Hi i have removed the the water chamber and cleaned out well! I then removed the float components like i your second video, ive also cleaned impeller for the draining. Now when i start the dishwasher i can see the water circulating it then begins to fill the diswasher the float kicks in drains, dishwasher fills, float then gets triggered drains with check water light on and just repeats this sequence 😢 im now stuck as to what to do thnk you 😔
Thanks for the advice on resetting the Fridge Freezer.
Thank you mate, I've just fixed this same problem with our Bosch dishwasher and I couldn't have done it without your videos, I would not have had the foggiest idea how to tackle this problem. So I say again brilliant thank you. Roger Deeney.
Thank you sir, really good help, cleaned it yesterday, hopefully no wet carpets anymore
Great video
Spot on! There was a tiny piece of broken glass in the bottom. Once removed, all working perfectly again. Thank you!
Super practical and easy to follow - my dishwasher was different, but concepts similar - thanks
Thanks so much. I panicked when the check water light came on last night 😂 This seems to have done the trick. There's a dishwater cleaner doing it's thing right now and all seems to be working again.
Mine is giving me the check water error from brand new so I just assume it is not getting enough water.
This vid didn't make much sense. Because you showed after you changed them. Could have shown the removal and replacement process.
Hey :-) Just wanted to say thanks for this video :-). Today I found the drain pipe on the passenger side and did it. I actually had to cut the insulation a bit. It's really a very stupid and unergonomic place. The problem is how do I do the driver's side? There's kind of a big sheet metal part in front of it. Unfortunately I don't see anything :-(. Do I have to cut the insulation as well? Thank you again :-) Top video
The most helpful video I've been able to find 🙌 thank you very much
