Love the MP5, have traded in an AR that is not routinely used to attain my wife the MAC5 in the event we gotta leave home. It's important to equip your loved ones with items they are comfortable using, or they shut down and won't train with it.

Carry as a backup? It's already my main carry. It's super concealable, and people underestimate what a 22lr can do. When it hits bone it shatters it and the shrapnel from the bone and bullet go in multiple directions and damage multiple organs.

All of these were already in the house. The last one I built for them was when they started driving and it went in the trunk. Rarely used (usually for some weather event) but I knew I had done what I could. Save space in your box for more adult needs.
