Tárrega - Prelude in E major | Gut and Silk Strings No Nails A=426Hz
A fresh little morning recording of a prelude I've been practicing. I used to play this one with nails and wanted to record it without nails because I had a feeling it would work really well this way.
However...morning isn't my best time for performance. I find myself more relaxed, contemplative, and poetic in the evening hours. But this is when I had some time. Anyways, this is a single take with no edits.
I'll add some more info here in the description when I get some time.

This mysterious little prelude is one of my favorites by Tárrega. I've not ever seen a manuscript or early edition of it. It seems particularly difficult to find so I wanted to share it here. I did something a little different in this experiment...instead of switching back and forth between the sounds with the tornavoz and without, I decided to just record a whole piece that I had already recorded for comparison.
