Super Easy DIY Tealight Holders Made From Scrap Wood | Weekend Woodworking Project
#DIY #Woodworking #ScrapwoodProject
These super easy DIY Tealight holders are made from scrap wood and make a great weekend project. The variety of designs is endless depending on the type of wood you have available and how many candles you want them to hold so there really isn't a wrong answer.
Make use of all the tools in your workshop like I did or simply cut everything to size with a hand saw. Either way, their hand-made finsh makes them a great addition to any home.
Thanks for watching!

DIY Rustic Shelves Made From Scaffold Boards
Переглядів 8 тис.3 роки тому
#DIY #Woodworking #ScaffoldBoards These beautiful, rustic shelves are made from regular scaffold boards. They're a great addition to any home and can be made with a limited set of tools. I made mine with brand new wood from a timber yard but you can add to the rustic appeal by sourcing some reclaimed boards. The shelves are stained with Briwax Tudor Oak (amzn.to/3fc2c5N) and finished with some ...
Ozito DP-350U Drill Press | Unboxing and First Impressions
Переглядів 7 тис.4 роки тому
I recently picked up this Ozito drill press from Homebase (www.homebase.co.uk/ozito-350w-13mm-drill-press_p389284). It's an entry-level tool and definitely on the hobbyist scale of quality but for the price I think it's pretty decent and suits my needs well. This isn't a full review. Just an unboxing and first impressions. I may do a more in-depth review once I've used it for a few months. Full...
How to make a Bird House out of Scrap Wood | Simple DIY Project
Переглядів 39 тис.4 роки тому
In this video I make a simple bird house table from some pallet wood, an old fence post and some small scraps. It's a great little project to use up some scrap wood and after a coat of paint it turned out to be a great addition to our garden. Thanks for watching! #DIY #Woodworking #BeginnerWoodworking Hi, my name is Ajay Karwal, I'm a full time web developer and a part time woodworking enthusia...
How To Make A DIY Wooden Clock Using Scrap Wood | Beginner Scrap Wood Project
Переглядів 53 тис.4 роки тому
In this video I make a wood clock from some salvaged scrap wood. It was my first time using my Ryobi Trim Router and after this project I think it's my new favourite tool! I'm really pleased with the finished product. It's not perfect but I learned many things which I could improve on if I was to repeat this project. Tools used: - Ryobi One Trim Router - amzn.to/2C8lIi3 - Ryobi One Planer - amz...
How to Remove Hollow Wall Anchor Plugs - Quick DIY Tip!
Переглядів 12 тис.4 роки тому
Hollow wall anchor plugs are great for fixing heavy loads for hollow cavity walls, but removing them can leave a big ol' mess if not done properly. Luckily there's a really simple way to remove these plugs cleanly without any special tools.
Simple DIY Printer Stand with Paper Storage Space
Переглядів 2,8 тис.4 роки тому
I really didn't like storing my printer paper ream on its side next to my printer. As the number of remaining sheets reduced, the ream would start to fold in on itself and the edges of the paper would get ruined. I made this this simple stand with some scraps of Melamine (Conti) board I had laying around. Much better now eh. Tools used: - Ryobi One Circular Saw - amzn.to/2ZgoDx4 - Ryobi One Com...
Sennheiser HD 400S Unboxing and Review
Переглядів 97 тис.5 років тому
I recently received some Sennheiser HD 400S headphones from work and thought I'd make an unboxing and review video. Get it on Amazon - amzn.to/2XTfasU Overall I'm pretty pleased with them. The sound quality is as great as you'd expect from Sennheiser and they're very comfortable. A couple of downsides such as no volume controls on the remote and I'm not keen on the locking mechanism of the cabl...
Splitting up pallets
Переглядів 2445 років тому
So, after several months of being obsessed with woodworking videos on UA-cam I’ve decided to give it a go too and plan to share my progress. I started today by splitting some pallets I had lying around from some recent deliveries. The pallets I started with weren’t in great shape so I didn’t end up with a lot of usable wood. A lot of it ended up in the scrap pile but as you can see I still have...
[SOLVED] Apple Macbook Pro Random Beep Sound
Переглядів 37 тис.10 років тому
My Macbook Pro makes this random beep sound for no apparent reason! Sometimes it will happen several times an hour.. other times it may happen only once or twice in a day. No notifications pop up and a lot of the time i'm not doing anything on the mac which would warrant a sound. Any ideas?
Quite a very good review for an old video. Straight to the point. Love it, thanks!.
Really not a good idea to GLUE in the clock works, if it no longer works they will get rid of it. With it not GLUD in they can get a new works and still keep the clock. The nut keeps the works secure in the clock. Nice clock. Oh, just noticed that this is 3 years old and I watched it in 2024. hehe
Nice wooden clock my friend
Thank you! Cheers!
What about the grey plastic ones with cross in centre
Should be able to just pull plastic ones out by inserting a screw about a quarter way in and pulling on it.
I have some broken pallet supports thanks for a great Idea!
Use a damp sponge to remove the glue.
Poor video.. 1/5
Good review and nice explanation
Discussing what fittings you needed to put up a 5kg shelf & brackets would be helpful.
You can get some really nice industrial brackets which are made to fit standard scaffold boards. Etsy has loads of options.
What were the high notes like, such as symbols and snare drums?
I think they’re very well balanced. I use these headphones for monitoring when I’m making music and they help me achieve good results.
Thanks. I'll give them a change for my office work.
I have to say, the original finish had a fab rustic vibe to it. I would gave left as is. A great little project, well done.
Might have to try these out since they aren't all that much I just want to test the sound quality first of sennheiser before dropping over $200 on some of their more popular buds and headphones
It’s all subjective of course but sennheiser are my favourite brand of headphones. This pair is still going strong 3 years later
Great video. Thanks. By the way. Its a ROW-ter. Not a Rooter. That sounds a bit rude. LOL.
All that happened for me was a bent screwdriver.
What a nice review! I just bought them for 45 us dlls, i hope they are good for the price
It's beautiful, but I would have switched it and made the back the front, I like the rustic look of the back.
good review man! I really like how you showed us the isolation. I searched for some great headphones for work and i dont want to disturb other teammates 😂
Nice review
Nice job and it's great to recycle wood. I'm just starting to do the same. Great video thanks 👍
I would recommend Woodglut to every beginner and not only.
Nice and informative, btw may i ask compare to hd250bt vs hd400s (or maybe also with audio technica ath m30x) in these 2 or 3 which are more good for only casual use for listening music or video? Thanks 🙏🏻
Where I live, a breeze would knock that over in one minute. That post would have to be 3 feet in the ground to keep it upright.
You're absolutely right.. It fell over shortly after filming so I ended up taking the "legs" off an just screwed the post direct to my fence post.
are these works as wireless ?
No they are wired only.
Great job! Thanks for sharing. This kind of simple projects are the best.
Thank you
Great build. Thanks for sharing.
Do you have any idea how these are compared to OneOdio Pro 50 ?
bass and volume is good only on the left side. it's a manufacturing defect
Very nice work. Thanks for the info on recessing the clock body.
Nice work , for your first effort .
Like your honest approach buddy errors included totally live.. well done
Thanks. I think its important to show errors. That's how we learn
As if you're going to spend about 200 quid on electric to dry them out lol and then by a thermometer to see what temperature they are lol pull the other one!
It’s a moisture meter. Not a thermometer. But thanks for watching anyway
@@ajaykarwal If you're doing this on a regular basis we really need to be looking at a more eco friendly way, you're not only condoning the use of trees on a huge scale, but promoting the use of electricity to dry them. How did they used to dry wood in the old days?
@@stephenallison1522 what a miserable man..
@@ajaykarwalloved this video and it helped me a lot, thank you!
how did you cut the angle for the pillars and supports? it looks great!
The pitch of the roof is 90 degrees, so the sides come down at 45deg. Therefore the angle to cut on the pillars was also 45deg which was nice and easy for me. It all depends on the angle of the pitch of the roof so yours may vary
NICE!!!!
Less than basic woodworking skills, awesome project???? awful project.
We’ll that’s not very nice is it. Oh well. All the best with your woodworking journey ✌🏽
Very good my friend! I’m currently working on a project making a vinyl cabinet using scaffold boards and this has gave me a good in sight of getting that smooth polished look👍
Best and easiest method I've seen on UA-cam......great job!!!
What can I put on the back so I can hang it up?
The clock mechanism usually has a spot where you hang it from. If yous doesn't have this, it would depend on your clock really. Perhaps a picture frame hanging loop?
I use sawthooth hangers. They sell at most hardware stores. They work great.
Very high quality review 👌
Thanks for telling me how the headphones are, and not the exact hyperdecimal of the drop off on the treble frequency at 9663 hz. Simple review, I like it.
Awesome job thanks for sharing
Good review 👍🏻
every time you say "but um" your accent goes to 100%, it's interesting! makes me wonder how many vocal quirks i picked up from my folks...
There really was no point in taping 12:00. The movement can go in any way. I wouldnt glue it in either, cant be replaced
Can I have the clock measurement ASAP
Nice job!! I had the same problem with mine, wood too thick, shaft too short. Imagine doing that with a dremel. I didn't have a router at the time, but I do NOW! So, the rest of my clocks will get done faster. Also, I need to order shafts that are longer (that's what she said). Anyway...that's a good looking clock, especially for the 1st time. Keep it up, I'm sure they'll look a lot different now that you are an "expert"!!
Good
Well the first flaw I can see straight away!! No sides to the feeding base? First winter gale puts bird feed to the ground, Where cats awaits,?? Dont use household paint use preventive wood stain!!
Appreciate the tips. Thanks!
is it compatible with iphone by using the convertor
Router not Rooter!
In the UK, we pronounce both of those words the same :D
@@ajaykarwal HAHA..No we don't , but great job .
