    Can you confirm that the sound you introduce at 0:21 is emulated Clavinet with Wah? How does Herbie get that sound? What other effects besides Wah does he use?

      Yes. It’s a real clavinet. Hohner E7, with a wah pedal. I think Herbie used a Hohner D6. I also believe Herbie used an Echoplex for the delay on the ARP.

      Yeah, early ARP Odysseys had a pitch knob, yes a rotary knob, not those pressure pads later ones had. He bumped this while playing but decided to keep this section. You can read this in his book Possibilities.
