Mononucleosis Presenting as Back Pain
This is exactly what happened to me in the gym I can't use straight bar it cause a lot of pain..
Where did you gym from?
Bro I also wanted a good starting in my bicep ended up doing a lot of curls
After having several knee injuries torn ligaments and my knee bending backwards and sideways starting 2 years ago, the baker's cyst started to get really large and I am not able to bend my left leg even at a 90° angle without extreme pain and I have been experiencing extreme pins and needles all over my legs and feet along with stabbing pains and if I do sit down and my knee will then go for my chair after 10 minutes my left leg is completely numb with pins and needles in my feet. For the last 45 years I have walked six miles every single night so I was also at the gym several hours every other day off and on for the last 40 years. But I was completely cringing I'm watching both of these needles go in so for me I would need to have a general anesthetic tired of having this in office procedure which I am scheduling hopefully this coming week
What a waste of time
Excellent video. I found it very helpful. Just injured my wrist in this area.
Bro i fully torn mine i don't know what to do 😢 its been 2 years now my forearm looks so skinny
Really hate when they don’t reply
Hi dear doctor! I’m glad to which this helpful video, I would like to know about your ultrasound, is it 3D , or 2D ?
Had a TKR last March and going for a Baker Cyst drain this week. My range of motion is limited due to the Baker Cyst and tough to do things I generally due at 72. Thanks for the video and helpful for me to understand what is going to take place.
Dr is this cyst can change into cancer? My mum have this cyst

My cyst has been dain twice and is back again, now what.
I have this problem but also tendon in my shoulder aswel hit with double wammy
I had a bakers cyst rupture while jogging about 10 years ago. Felt like lava was being forced throughout the joint. Pure misery.
I had a very large bakers for many years and finally had it removed, Not Understanding it would come back. I just cried when I felt the awful pain. Now I think I may be getting 1 in my other knee.
That was the laziest treatment I ever seen
You mention about your previous video of biceps aponeurosis but I couldn't find it. Could you please share the link?
Who do I go see if it's injured?
About to have surgery on mine, nerve is encased. I broke radius in half a year ago
the wrist widget is a great brace. It keeps my tendon from popping out. I highly recommend it
Arm pain when I twist arm like to look at my watch is this it?
Thank Doc for this Video. I have a Ganglion Cyst size 0.4cm x0.4 cm x 0.2cm overlying the right acromioclavicular joint at the back and its painful. I was asked to do MRI and ultrasound and undergoing Physiotherapy but the pain still persist. Your help will be much appreciated.
Excellent video! Thanks for posting!
Experiencing this issue now due to Pickleball 😖
Me too, had pain on and off with this for years (as a golfer), but started playing Pickleball last few months and the pain is more presistent. Using a wrist support is helping.
Where can I go to find a Doctor in Houston Texas that work with bakers cyst?
Just found this video and LOVE to see a Dr. who lifts weights! I've been lifting for 25 years and am experiencing this same type of pain. Many thanks for your service in doing this video for us!
I used heat therapy to (1) relax the valve in the fill tube and (2) increase the pressure in the cyst. It was just a layman mechanic thinking but it worked and never returned.
Where can I go to find a Doctor in Houston Texas that work with bakers cyst?
That pronator is huge
This is an in office procedure for what type of physician? Is aspiration necessary? Will it return? Can you continue with sports (pickleball)? I understand you should strengthen your glutes. Is aspiration a short term fix?
I think it’s an Orthopaedic Surgeon who would do it for you, if I’m not mistaken…
What does it feel like to have the Baker's cyst? Behind my knees feels very tight to where I have difficultly moving around, straightening my legs and absolutely trying to get into a squatting or bend my legs to get to the floor. Hurts terribly even just in bed trying to move from side to side. Although If the day is nice and I can walk, after a while it loosens up. Surprisingly, Advil helps tremendously, but I don't want to be taking it daily. This has been going on for over 3 weeks. I think I over did it playing pickleball and not stretching prior. Any feedback?
I had tennis and golfers elbow with ulnar surgery. Now my nerve in inside of elbow is super sensitive and I can not use a mouse or keyboard without pain to wrist to elbow. Plus I just had major surgery for a ruptured rotator cuff
I get sharp pains in that area when the lower part of my arms are pushed or flexed in too far. Makes it hard to fo top buttons up or wash my neck in the shower. Could this be the problem?
Yup same as me ,now the sharp pain stopped after like 8 months but I still have ache in the place , cant flex bicep, just about flex tricep when I do bicep feels weird n reckon if I do a dead lift pew goes left arm 😂 all this an no initial accident just started getting sharp pain one day and hant even been training at this pain for months ! Good luck 💪🏾
Thank you for this informative video and thank you for showing off your very nice biceps!
I 100% have that exact issue as well speak . Help me fix it or what can I do to get it back to normal with no pain ?
I have pain in my bought elbows for months now and i have no idea what to do .Can i do exercises even if i have pain!?
goalkeeper from soccer here, i think i overtrained myself (i train 2-3 times a day) and it manifested into this intense wrist pain I felt after a training that basically left my wrist immobile for 3 days. now, i’ve rested about a week and I was wondering if (assuming i feel little to no pain now) it would be safe to continue training with tape around the wrist for stability? thank you!
This is the worst pain of all time.
Just had an mri and found out that I’m dealing with this
Dr. Girmann I totally agree with you. We need to socialize more and put our devices away
It’s great to hear from a doctor on what to look for in a doctor. Most doctors are looking only to get to the next patient by giving medication not taking care of the patient and listening to their true needs.
Very informative
Can anyone suggest someone that can do this in the Houston area? Nobody I have gone to will do this for some reason.
Ive been doing these excercises you prescibed for at least 12 weeks now. I couldnt curl over 15lbs and now im at 45. But, the pain still persists. I cant contract the bicep all the way. Is it because i am using heavyier weight than i shoudl be?
It hurt just watching! I got one and it hurts like crazy after doing much.
how quickly does it recur?
Hey there! I've had pain in my lower arm in the inside AND outside for years now every time I start training more (doing pullups etc.) and I just can't get rid of it... This is the first video that somehow describes the are where it hurts me and I was wondering if there are any other exercises that you can do to make this better?
Probably depends on your age. I am closer to 50 and my pain hasn't got better in a year. It started from pullups. I can't do them or bicep curls really anymore. I tried the online rehab exercises but nothing helps.
So how to I rehab the radius tendinitis?
Do bakers cyst always present with a lump behind the knee? Or just general swelling and pain?
