I don't know what to write here :( Oh wait....
Super Bowl X - Lynn Swann's unbelievable catch
Pinned down at their own 6 with 3:47 left in the first half, the steelers needed a big play. Lynn Swann gladly took the opportunity with this unbelievable 53 yard catch

Super Bowl XVI - The 49ers Goal Line Stand
Переглядів 60 тис.7 років тому
Down 20-7, the Cincinnati Bengals were looking to cut the 49ers lead and make it a one possession game. The 49ers defense had other plans however, as they went on a 4 play goal line stand and did not let Cincinnati gain more than a yard.

Rodney Harrison's 4th quarter interception that clinched the Super Bowl for the New England Patriots
I guess Coach Gregg never thought on 4th down having Anderson fake it to Johnson and bootleg around the right side or play-action fake to Johnson throw it to a receiver who broke into the endzone. Niners defense was completely stacked to stop Johnson. Period.
Hines ward was a qb too
Now he’s training the Lions WRs on how to throw
We're gana score!!!!
Classic call by Summerall and Madden. A great announcer significantly adds to the drama of a moment like this great goal line stand. A bad announcer like Joe Buck takes all the energy of the call away.
The hardest throw to make for a Qb is someone that wide open 😂 Clutch block on Ben’s part too
John Madden and Al Michaels. What a choice duo.
Next game gets even more crazier😂
The Bengals were beaten after this goal line stand they never recovered
Hacksaw Reynolds!
Dat kid Danny "bunns" is my hero!.. uncle seifert with da discipline goal line 💯🤘🍻
Imagine humbling yourself to change positions and then you throw a td in the super bowl. It's a movie.
How fantastic. Fuck the eagles
This is the difference between jim o brien and scott norwood
0:14 the disrespect lol
Video quality has come so far. Can’t even see the ball after it’s snapped.
I was seven years old. This was the first time I began to understand football. True story: this made me really like the 49ers as a boy growing up. It was helped by how bad my hometown team (Eagles) were from 1982 to about 1988. I'm all grown up now and ride with the home team, but this was fun watch. 4 plays and they couldn't get one measly yard in the biggest game of the season.
Nice block by Ben.
When I could watch football, can't stand new football
Players far more talented now, but wayyyy more fundamentally sound then. Coaching far more creative today, but leadership and game management better back then. Interesting in many ways of what we’ve gained with knowledge and lost on a human/leadership/ wisdom level from then.
....and the longest dynasty in NFL history basically the Brady Dynasty 16 division titles, 9 conf championships, 6 SB wins in 18 years.
0:18 “Bruh my 🦷 “
Michaels and Madden sounded like they couldn’t care less…their energy did not meet the moment on this one
This entire playoff run by the Steelers was rigged af idc what anyone says
It sure does look like Greenlaw took a page out of Danny Bunx,Ronnie Lot, and Hacksaw Jack Reynolds play book of the past. The greatest goal line stop I have ever seen in a Super Bowl, can't get more super than that!!!!!!!!!!!
Two comments- first, SF was not just a finesse team. They were tough and they punished you. Secondly- why does the NFL not allow this game to be shown in its entirety? Just about every other SB is available except for this one and SB 15.
Imagine being a QB in college knowing that you’ll never be an NFL QB but you still throw a touchdown pass in the Super Bowl…nice!
Jack Reynolds' finest hour.
Totally awesome!
Dan Bunz was actually pivotal in 3 of the 4 plays in this Goal Line Stand (1st, 3rd, 4th downs).
It was so cold in the northeast that day, I remember sitting with my back against the fireplace glass for hours & I melted my new Randy Gradishar shirt I got from Sears.
XFL brought me here!
I come to this right after listening to Collinsworth call the Manningham catch and Aaron Donald sack/Burrow pressure play lol.
Former QB to former QB
I had no idea that they flirted with a bottom screen scoreboard this early in broadcasting. I remember the Eagles and Giants playing 5 years later in 2010 where they still had it in the top left corner. Making the change to the bottom was the best move the broadcast networks made.
One of those, who wants it more situations. Plus pretty unimaginative play calling by today's standards. As Bill Belichick would put it to his players, "do your job". Unfortunately for the Bengals, they didn't. Set the trend for the next decade and a half of mainly SB blow outs by NFC teams.
This is when the Steelers were absolutely dangerous. Steelers defense in that era was amazing no one was able to run passed them. Love my Steelers man we need that 7th ring lol
Absolutely garbage call by Joe Buck ... this goes to show how much of a talentless hack he really is.
What’s crazy is willie was wide open across the field, probably would’ve been a TD if they went to him too
Jack "Hacksaw" Reynolds belongs in Canton. Make it so Rams!....49ers!
OBJ - “WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN”!!!
One of the worst superbowls ever ..
John was right. Anderson should’ve faked to Johnson and bootlegged it in
Dan Bunz was the unsung hero of this Super Bowl.
Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
1:24 If Anderson had looked left, he would have seen Dan Ross (#89), who started on the right side of the line, had cleared everybody and was all alone on the left side of the end zone. He could've floated the ball out to him for an easy TD. What could have been...C'est la vie.
I remember watching this catch on a TV preview.
Antwaan Randle El played QB in college for Indiana.
Jack “Hacksaw” Reynolds was the backbone of all those great Rams defenses in the 1970s! One of the greatest players in NFL history!
He belongs in Canton.
He was already dressed up with eye black and pads, fully geared while everybody was just getting up and going to breakfast.
1:30 reminds of the historical goal line stop we did to the seahawks in our 2019-20 season🔥
Today against the filthy commies.
We? 🤣
Dan Bunz was my pe teacher at sutter middle school in Sacramento. He would bring his rings in all the time and let us wear them. Cool dude. Maybe the greatest super bowl tackle of all time. Greatest stop was Malcolm butler but greatest tackle is Dan bunz ImO
Pete Johnson sucks. It needs to be said. No acceleration to the line. Zero cutting ability, ever. Underpowered and oversized.
