Makes sense that she didn't know the truth about the Dream Guardian when recording the lines, there is no percievable deception in those encounters, other than it all being just way too perfect to be true. If she knew she's actually playing a horrifying, manipulative monster, she might have played these lines differently, making the deception a bit more obvious.

Astarion Ascended, Dark Justiciar Mother Superior and Oathbreaker Minthara was such a super duper Evil Squad for my Durge. Full throttle Astarion story where the winner takes it all is so satisfying. Astarion and Minthara moved me to the core.

Now we just need to get the male Dream Visitor voice actor!

i love Diana’s voice in the game. shes awesome. glad to see her talking about the game she’s been kind of quiet about it. She’s beautiful too I wish she was in more live action TV and film.

She was the Dream Visitor voice on my first playthrough, before I knew what happened with the Dream Visitor. I *adored* my dream guardian so much and was sad to see her go (not that Scott Joseph as the Emperor is any slouch). Thank you for such a great performance!

Really cool to see how much Mark loves the series. Often times big franchises are seen as paychecks or annoyances to performers, but that clearly isn't the case here. You don't become the best video game (one could even argue media) trilogy of all time without full passion and buy-in from everyone involved, and Mark clearly showed that here

Karlach is without a doubt my favorite character in BG3. She just too damn wholesome and adorable...but also berserker rage killing machine.

I dont think its about being a good actor but its more about bad writing. Henry changed scrypts because he knew the ip and what Geralt is all about. Afaik new witcher doesnt know about the lore.

Im glad he understood Geralt . In the netflix serie they had Geralt make a joke about Roach death and Henry refused to do it because he knew Geralt love his horses and would never nake a joke about that. One of the reason they said he was "hard" to work with and changed the scrypt " all the time" .

on FFXIV "I've played through the first expansion" oh buddy, hope you're still playing because the good parts follow. Stormblood felt neat because you were fighting two different fights at once, but post-Stormblood when we have that cinematic boss fight with story bits in it (and how post-Stormblood had pushed me into wanting one specific result that honestly I didn't want prior to it) was when I realized the game was special. I know a lot of players started feeling a certain way after a certain event in Heavensward, you know the one, but in all honesty, it was Stormblood that did me in. And then it progressively got better through to Endwalker (which is very much a creation of the COVID era).
