Nice review! I think Soundtoys are all around just underrated. I think the conclusion would be pick up Little Alterboy when it's on sale (often offered for $39)... also, to put it in perspective, you can get SoundToys 5 bundle when it's on sale for $199. To think, you can get MetaPitch for $199 or the entire Soundtoys 5 plugins, including Little alterboy, for the same price (when it's on sale).

For the most part, cheap hardware sounds better than the nicest plugins. It's not all about sound though. I can pay $300 for 1 piece of hardware, or for a plugin that I can use on 64 tracks. Also, the thing nobody thinks of is cabling. Buying snakes, wiring up patch bays, replacing dead cables. For me, worth it. I just love the analog workflow. For most people, a piece or two might be great, but full analog set up, not required at all.

I bought the auto tune pro x perpetual license to not pay monthly and it has been a nightmare ever since they launched auto tune central app and discontinued antares central. I've been going back and forth with them for 2 weeks and they cannot get me going. I want to switch to the next big thing, who do you recommend please assist! I've been using waves parallel particles for parallel compression. I've realized lately i must be getting phase cancellation as the overall vocal is getting quieter as i blend to taste. Bad choice in parallel compressor or am I using it incorrectly? Thx. Great vids btw. 👍🏼

Waves tune real time can actually sound extremely robotic just set the speed to 0, the note transition to 0, the vibrato to off and the formant to not corrected

Of all the problems to have ever not existed in production, reverb selection has not existed the hardest.
