This is the best reaction ive seen of this album. Actually giving your thoughts and listening to the song. This is great
You should react to madvillainy by mf doom
@@Kanyesbiggestglazer4life i’ve already listened to that one, banger album
@@TheReactionBar well, then you should definetly react to more kanye stuff
React to reasonable doubt by jay z
Yooo this guy is really good a breaking down lyrics he caught lyrics that would go over many heads good shit
Good reaction, I actually didn't notice some of these lyrics until now.
Where are u bro
Have you listened to To Pimp A Butterfly? If not I would HIGHLY suggest it as THE BEST rap album ever made.
Also heads up not to eat in videos 🙏 (turns people with misophonia off and it’s just annoying hearing lips smacking over the music)
@@GrinchedHeavy i have, its one of my favorite albums however i prefer gkmc over it slightly
Wow, I don't remember Kendrick being on the album

Go;od VIDEO😎
IM SO APPALLED! at ~34:00 lol did you not hear Jay Z and Pushas verses lol. You seem pretty smart but sometimes take a step back. Catch things holistically. Not everything is face value. Kanye really is a musical genius both as a producer and rapper. and he's one of the artists you'll listen to a song forever then one day it'll just hit you in a whole different light, or you'll catch something new. Let the album sit with you
"Burning alive" is the guilt she feels for unspokenly betraying someones trust, dont see whats wrong with that line
10:14 most kanye verse ever😭
Lore accurate kanye
Bars definitely went over your head lol takes a while to get used to how advanced the lyrics were in the 90s. Gotta get into wu tang now.
You should react to Rodeo
@@eezypredator3585 already on the schedule🤑
Please react to Late Registration by Kanye West ❤
I think that All Of The Lights Interlude is meant to be a funeral song after he took his own life in POWER, just to let you know.
i like how u are into story and narrative, thats one of my favorite aspects of kanye. He treats his whole career as one art project so each album and performance art/interview are apart of the larger story. this one is 3 act structure, and similar to the Wizard of Oz story. The death in Power is the loss of innocence into the funeral music of the interlude. Then it goes through the middle section where it acts as a dream/nightmare sequence (All of the lights to Devil in a new dress). The Runaway note is the alarm that wakes him up and he has to face reality going through his issues with intimacy then ending with him being aware of the facade of the American dream. Also, for Hell of a Life - the ending of the song is there to show that it's just him watching porn and using it to try and escape the loneliness. During the song, even when he's trying to use escapism, he can't avoid the issue of exploitation, and yeah it's sad. Then, Blame Game ending is even worse, with some borderline sadomasochism. Its for sure a psychological thriller of an album, would love to see more kanye reactions. He has a whole film released with this, as well, called Runaway, its like 30 minutes long
Bro I love that album so much, all the songs are just different levels of 10 to me
HECK YEAH REACTION BAR UPLOADED AN ALBUM REACTION do you have any specific albums your plan on listening to?
@@kuwumiefn6943 next four videos I’m planning demon days bc a subscriber recommended it, a horror game of sum sort, the life of pablo, and rodeo. I have like twenty more written down on the schedule tho

This album took Ye’s production to the next level where he started to use the human voice as an instrument as he had mastered production in all other aspects. This is why you hear the distortions in the vocals but it’s to utilize them as an instrument that is unique to him as it’s his voice rather then to add an element to the vocals. So you have an homage to his production evolution as elements of his whole career are throughout the album, but then the introduction of something not done in mainstream hip-hop with the voice as an instrument which is basically like a magnus opus because where do you go from there. When tied into the concept of the album and the lyrics, you see layers on layers and that is why it was album of the decade
The term jumping out the window is like saying “I’m all in”

Raekwon, the one you said sounds like MF DOOM, he’s a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, another member also appears in MBDTF, RZA, as a producer and feature. So you should react to 36 Chambers if you haven’t already
Please do life of pablo

Great reaction. Nice insights in first listen! Kanye’s work rewards over time. Hope there is more of his discography for you to explore.
He’s explaining his environment that made who he is. He’s actually introducing himself. This was his debut album

"Boom Bop"? "The DJ thing"? Over analyzation can ruin the experience.
@@purposepassionandlovetv863 I’m pretty sure Illmatic is a boom bap behemoth in rap no?
@TheReactionBar Yeah but not "boom-bop" and yes, scratching is what Hip-Hop DJs do but to not know the culture any better than to know exactly what scratching is is a bit offensive. Hip-Hop saved and directed a lot of lives for us oldheads of the time. Watching people pretend to know stuff is a problem. I'm not saying you have to be a deep historian but at least have the foundational principles in order. I know yall are young and i get a kick out of watching these reactions, however, if terms like Boom Bap and scratching aren't known I'm looking with the "we don't believe you, you need more people " face. ( line courtesy of Shawn Carter. )
@@purposepassionandlovetv863 no offense meant, but fyi I’m aware of what scratching is and boom bap although I may have butchered the pronunciation. Sorry to disappoint
