Haha nah it’s not just about the LLV, mostly about defensive driving protocols with a little bit of LLV information thrown in. It was a very boring day filled with an archaic slideshow but hey it was paid and the instructor was cool so who am I to complain lol

Yes, they briefly trained us on them during the LLV training day. We mainly played around with the controls and then were taught about all the blind spots but they let us drive them for like 5 minutes. Much much smoother than the LLV, but far too many blind spots

@Satsuma1 oh wow I didn’t know that! It does make sense though, even in regular dirt roads this mail truck struggles. I couldn’t imagine it in mud. Would be cool to see one of those jeeps in person

Same here in rural WV, the ruts in our roads alone would probably get these stuck but the creek crossings and mud don’t help.. Jeeps are very much necessary here

@@hakeemsd70m I was riding school buses from 2010-2019 and I honestly don’t remember any of them having ac, just heat.

Oh that’s interesting. The throttle is so heavy it doesn’t feel like the thing has any horsepower 😂

Yeah, I’d say these did their intended job extremely well! Although I could definitely see why one would use their own vehicle, these don’t deal with dirt roads, or heavy rain super well from what I’ve experienced.

I don’t believe we’ve had to do the intake manifold at all. I guess it’s just one of those things that either happens a lot or not at all.

@@theslammed2418 On the 4.6 engines 2002 and up, the intake issues were resolved by making the front of the intake out of aluminum

@@E1320_ oh wow I had no idea the ac was so cheap. I was a little scared cuz my brothers crown Vic had ac problems that ended up costing a decent amount, but that would be really cool if it was that cheap.

@@theslammed2418 The evaporator cores leak in them when they get older and its the labor that high. Or who knows maybe its a relay or a fuse. Having AC in a car is a state of mind, I am age 68 and I dont even use them but just roll the window down. My 2005 lincoln town car has good AC, but I dont use it at all. Mine is white and the white reflects heat. I also have the 4.6 V8 and at 194 K miles it runs perfect

@@dudespin yeah the cruise control does work but basically all the other buttons on the wheel either stick or just don’t work at all. This is probably one of the best cars to learn to drive on. I personally learned on a 2000 crown vic which is basically the same thing. Keep this thing up with maintenance and it’ll last forever

@@theslammed2418 Cruise control can get people killed, because they get sleepy on road trips and arent having to concentrate on manual speed

For sure! This thing was a tank for a while, but unfortunately a poor mechanic job kinda screwed it up. Still got good money selling it though. Everyone wants one of these
