Thats partially true but you need a good gpu to display those frames. And you cant bottleneck your cpu by buying a too slow gpu. If you want to do something like this then buy a 1 Tier better cpu than your gpu. For example CPU: I7 13700K GPU: RTX 4060/3060 TI but you shouldnt do that always. In the most cases you should do something like CPU: I7 13700K GPU: RTX 4070. The same generation and the same tier. For me in Minecraft for example the GPU was the biggest factor for fps my cpu wasnt the problem. So dont listen to this guy. Buy as good cpu as your gpu to avoid bottlenecks and so you can actually smoothly display 1000 + fps. Normally something like R5 5600X + RX 6600 should give you more than 300fps and in most cases that is enough if you have 540hz monitor then obviously buy better parts. Idk why you want 1000fps when you have 60hz/144hz monitor.

People severely overestimate how much less latency you get with a super high refresh rate. As long as it's stable and at your monitor's highest refresh rate, and you don't get tearing, you'll be fine

I have 7800x3d some how first game runs smooth and normal where i can play well but after 1st match or 1 hour suddenly game feels choppy and vandal’s 3 bullet burst does not connect at all, i have intel i350 lan adaptor, ram running at default config does not work well with expo gigabye b650 gaming x ax mobo, samsung 990 pro ssd, 360hz benq monitor, 3080ti fe gpu should i move to intel cpu? He probably had a bottleneck since if you have a very strong gpu and a weaker cpu / power supply it will create a bottleneck and make your computer work worse than it should work with the correct specs
