Hiking Among the Windmills at Brushy Peak Preserve - Livermore, CA
Come with me as I hike among the windmills at Brushy Peak Preserve in Livermore, CA. I wish I came earlier in the Spring when the hills were still green as it would have been more picturesque, but this was a fun hike. Inclines were pretty moderate and you get a good view of the windmills from afar at the peak. Declines were also moderate. The trail was pretty overgrown at the time of my visit.
Distance: 5 miles
Elevation: 900 Feet
Time: 2.5 hours
Difficulty: 4.5 / 10 due to narrow rocky trails, distance and sun exposure.

What?Had to move 23 years ago,nice to see again,maybe never in person.
We stayed at the Grand Californian and stayed in a room to the left of this path. That table and chairs area that you see in this video, to the left of that was our room. Standard room price, THE BEST spot to walk to this entrance! One night we got in our pajamas, walked right over to Pixar pier, watched the World of Color show and went back to our room in less than 5 min. It was AMAZING! Next stay I’d love to stay at Pixar Place because of this entrance. Such a great entrance and very short line. So under utilized.

I found that the wildflowers here were small, but numerous. Let me know if you have been here later in the season and if the wildflowers get bigger in size.

We stayed at the Pixar Place but wanted to go through Downtown Disney so we did not use the private entrance.
