I mean true But an exact adaptation is usually a bad or passable adaptation depending on the gap between the two mediums you’re trying to convert. So things must be changed. HOWEVER, there is the proper way to adapt and change things and there is whatever garbage Hollywood is doing

dude its actually an amazing hotel -- you just experienced it wrong

I'm pretty sure this whole experience was just a ploy to get free manual labor from the theme park guests. When I visited, they put us all on "Chasm Duty" for three hours, which basically involved cleaning up after all the guests in the Roshar-land section of the theme park, since apparently their janitor quit the day before. Lots of dropped chouta wrappers and "ice-crem" cones; it was pretty disgusting.

Which Fantasy show are most looking forward to, Rings of Power season 2 or House of the Dragon season 2?

Context: Recently Amazon Prime dropped a new teaser trailer for Rings of Power season 2 (ua-cam.com/video/X4PzeQir9hs/v-deo.htmlsi=GlVO8CteJ-6_kXcb) and HBO Max followed that up an hour later with a trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 aka HotD (ua-cam.com/video/YN2H_sKcmGw/v-deo.htmlsi=_yrP9fb2UNAyqtLl). The next day HBO Max followed this up with the teaser trailer for Dune: Prophecy (ua-cam.com/video/EEoQAoEGLhw/v-deo.htmlsi=DjBepEZDnii7_7ar).

I would be more excited if it didn't feel like this got greenlit instead of a Mistborn moview.

What are you more excited for, The War of the Rohirrim or The Hunt for Gollum? At this point there's no trailers so we're going off of titles and vibes.

I don't understand why these executives, writers and producers think that we're all interested in Golum out of all things imaginable in the Middle Earth. I only hope war of rohirim is gonna be good because it looks like they've got the right people in the production. PJ needs to stop, he's done enough already and needs to recognize it. And Andy Serkins should stop basing his entire career around one good role of Golum

I feel like one thing I really like about shallan is how deceptive her character is. At first she seems like a welcome break from the rest of the main cast and their issues. It makes for a neat little point of contrast. And then we find out her backstory. The really interesting thing is, nothing really changes about her character, just our perception.
