his music has been w me all the way through middleschool (2018 ish) and I've waited forever for him to drop, he recently did and it was so fulfilling. I had just graduated and his new music feels like a new stage of life.

ok i havent watched the full video. maybe his name wasnt salvia palth maybe it was a reference to Sylvia Plath, a poet who commited suicide by putting her head on a microwave and all the time she was alive, she wasnt really living at all.

Don't know how much water this holds, but I believe Salvia Palth also was almost selected for Hotline Miami or Hotline Miami 2? Bardo States is the song in question, either that or it's the original Plath, not Palth? Worth mentioning regardless due to the outright connection between the two.
The first time i listened to salvia plath and i was all over her was literally in a dream. I fell asleep listening to a playlist playing and at some point it played i was all over her. I was dreaming about a car ride with a stranger in the green mountains but for some reason we were passing abandoned places full of greenery and going to explore. I don’t know why but the music through my brain managed to slip into my dream and it was one of the most peaceful experiences i have ever witnessed. Towards the end of the song i woke up and one might think id be sad that such a surreal experience was over but instead i just put the song again and played it as i watched the peaceful dark blue sky of the morning dawn.
