Johnny Williams is still alive. he is 92.

02:02 that crescendo was just as it should be. remember that the original was recorded by seasoned movie/TV session orchestral musicians with experience going all the way back to the 1930s. add to that after the original was reordered it was mixed and mastered.

Both themes were in my opinion spot on. The first does sound a bit more complex then the second. The second definitely sounds more like a John Williams composition. It is very cool to find out that my childhood has the Williams sound around as I had no idea he did these themes. I thought my first experience hearing his music was 1977 and Star Wars. In a few months we get to go see him perform live. I'm like a little kid with excitement waiting for that day to come around 😊

The theme music for Seasons 1 and 2 was too whimsical for a space adventure series. The Season 3 theme was better suited for a space adventure series.
