If only your mechanic would've pulled up the TSB for the 06 thru 13 Impalas. It would show this problem with the speed sensor harness. If they replaced hubs. They should be on the hook for their misdiagnosis. A professional mechanic should know to pull up any TSB'S first.

Id assume its a former police car. The 2nd gen police version of the taurus was sold from 1993 to 1995, and the speedometer says uts certified, only police cars say that, and the rpm gauge only goes to 7 grand, and the speedometer goes up to 140, and NO gl was sold with a 140 MPH top speed, the PD versions used a slightly tuned version of the vulcan, but a normal vulcan only does 85MPH

My Granddaddy, who's my Mom's Dad, is a retired relief worker from the old Ford Plant in Hapeville, GA. He got a brand-new Taurus in 1988, & it was a great vehicle. It was ahead of its time. He's had several Fords and Mercuries over the years. In fact at one point, almost everyone on my Mom's side of my family drove Fords.

I noticed you, like many with this subject, never route the ohms tester towards the main ABS regulator gizmo.. makes sense cause I tried it & no reading on either front side. guesscing that means the loop is closed at regulator when battery, key, etc., is shut-off. same differance though, 1 could start test from connector closer to regulator & point it back towards hub. btw., these wires internally breaking on this wire is a common misnomer - something about after one breaks, then takes off on a turn, that’s when stabiltrak, this that or the other, takes place - almost like, maybe, heat from exaust, brakes, etc. puts tension on wire then when turning, etc. it pulls this now, non-fascined connection apart. from that one could guess this hidden break is near brakes(no pun int.)✋😒

You should’ve shown from taking the Airbag out too. You didn’t even tell us what sizes socket or Torx to use. The Torx size is T30 there are 2 torx on the left and right outside of the steering wheel .Unscrew both torxs and the airbag and horn front piece will come right off. The middle Nut is a 17MM.

I have a question on why my clothes are still wet after the final spin cycle of my MAH5500AWW washer. I took the back panel apart and the belt seems to be OK. At no time was the belt slipping. The washer during its spin cycle rotates slowly clockwise for about 15 seconds then counterclockwise for another 15 seconds and it repeats itself. The RPM is only about 1-2 RPM which seems very very slow. There is also always water in the drum as I hear the water sloshing around inside it, but the water does drain and the inside of the washer (where the clothes are) never has any residual water. Do you what might be the problem? I expected the drum to spin really fast during the spin cycle and for the water inside the drum to drain completely. Otherwise the washing machine operates as if nothing is wrong.

Awesome! I bought an 07 recently and have heard these wires go bad. I'm replacing my front pad and rotors soon, so I will be doing this also while I am down there. I have another harness down by the trans that just hangs and idk what it goes to that I'll be figuring out as well.

Hi my car doing the same thing but I can feel a little vibration sometimes in my brake pedal and gas pedal. I think it might be more then the wire. My car also doesn't have the light or sound come on all the time it mainly does it when it's hot and sometimes when it does it my radio goes off too. Mechanics have not been able to get a reading on it either. I'm so frustrated this has been going on 5 months.

Mine is a 3000AWW without the recirc pump....how curious they would add a recirc pump when they were having so many problems with this series washer. I put in the new drum bearings/seal, sent the top circuit board off for repair, replaced the door 'wax' switch, the belt and she was off and running for over 17yrs now without a hitch. Also there's a balance switch that goes bad or is intermittent. As you look at the machine from the front with the panel off, it's facing you on the top right. Elementary check valve in the pump. The pumps swivel out so that the feet pull out through larger holes....no screws on mine. Same principle as yours...slightly different.

I have the same problem with my 2013 Impala...it makes this grinding sound when I turn left. The error message comes on sometimes but not always. Is it becuz of a fricking wire?

I'm having the same issue with my 2012 Impala. Your video is awesome just one question, how did you end up finding the wires after they left the plug from the ABS sensor following it the control arm and it goes into the engine bay. From there how did you find the wire it's so congested in there it looks like you were up by the radiator is that where it comes out? Thank you for your time
