One packs are hard - here is my first one (FPV Freestyle)
In my opinion, one packs are the ultimate display of skill. No practicing of a thoroughly planned line. Just going with the flow of what you know about the spot, and how you can incorporate tricks and your style into the pack.

New dive gate at our FPV park
Переглядів 895Місяць тому
This is our FPV park where we can build stuff as we like. I decided to build a triple gate out of PE pipes. They need to be reinforced with some steel cables, as they sag a bit. But already quite happy with it. Dude!! You've come so far! You should be really proud of the dedication you have, and you have developed a skill for life That ladder dive was nice Mad respect for you = subbed
Thanks so much for the kind words! 🙏 The ladder dive took me a few packs and a few sets of propellers, but when I finally had it, I was so happy :)
nice
Thanks
Waiting for my first drone i think im gonna do this too! Thanks for the little inspiration in learning 🙏
You're welcome! And thank you for your comment. Means a lot :)
Im in week 1
Good luck! Don't be afraid to try new and risky stuff. Also practice in the sim!
@@btastic_fpv uncrashed has been my favorite Sim wo far
Nice ! Looks good 👌🏻 wish you even more interesting lines and still lots of fun while flying 🤘🏻
Thank you man! I hope so too 🙏
This video is gold!!!! I am starting off with a 5 inch, been playing in Sim for about 4 hours and getting much better. Which Sim you use? I was using uncrashed
Thank you! I am mainly using uncrashed nowadays. I started off with DRL, since it had a easy tutorial which progressively took off the practice wheels, until full acro. Then I used a lot of liftoff, until finally settling on uncrashed. Custom maps are so much fun! :)
@@btastic_fpv I agree! There is a bunch of great maps
Great progress! I guess it helped a lot having people to teach you stuff and all?
Thanks man! Yes I think so. At least it was encouraging many people to do the same and/or get started too! :)
Excellent video. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub! Appreciate it!
3/3 🙌🙌
Thanks dude! 🙏
Awesome! Definitely you are talented with fpv drone freestyles! Keep doing!
Thank you! I will keep going for sure 🙏
so cool
Thank you!! :)
Hell yeah, dude! Talk about a progression!
Thanks dude! 🙏🙏
this was awesome you should make more content
Thanks, what kind of content would you like to see me do? :)
Is this in germany😂
In der Tat :)
Fire
Good job man!you are awesome!!
Thanks! You too! 😊😊
Nice job man!! Good stuff!
Glad you liked it! 😍
sick! And nice spot! 🔥
Thanks 🙏
Thanks for this video. I now know I can't get one of these FPV drones or else my family will not see me for at least 42 weeks.
Haha, I mostly fly on weekends. Working remotely allows me to see my family almost 24/7, besides the hours I go out and fly
Cool!
Thanks!
Dude that's sick you must have put some hours in. Your week 9 is better than my year 1+ progress.
Thanks so much! Keep at it!
@btastic_fpv I've not flown in several years but am thinking about getting back, now digital systems a lot better.
How much did you spend on FPV in your first year❓
Thats a tough question, but I will answer, of course. Goggles 400€ Radio: 200€ Whoop: 100€ 3.5": 350€ Batteries: 50€ First Quad: 360€ incl. Batteries GoPro: 100€ Runcam 5 Orange: 180€, destroyed it, but insured. So I got the 180 back DJI Action 2: 220€ Bando quad: 350€ More batteries: 100€ Propellers: 3 orders for 60-70€ Lots of other smaller stuff, replacement parts etc. probably another 500€ That is around 2.7-3k € I guess. Averages at around 250€ per month.
sick one pack bro!
Thanks bro! ❤️
Wicked flying mate, you must have been so happy with that pack .
Thanks dude! 🙏 To be honest, I didn't like it on first review, but with color grading and music it kinda grew on me
That's a sick spot! And a sick one pack!
Thanks! Hell yea, that wasn't the last time we went there for sure :) First time visiting a spot is kinda overwhelming, it will only get better 🙏
💯🔥🔥🔥🔥 👊😎
Thanks 🙏🔥
first !!! nice flying my dude!!!
Thanks so much! 🙏
Awesome journey, you became a very skilled pilot! Also, how many times did you have to fix your drone on this learning year? Just curious Congratz!
Thank you 🙏 I only destroyed minor parts, so fixing was only in parts, never the whole drone
🔥🔥🔥
let him cook!!! Well done man!
Thanks man! Appreciate it!
looks like fun! awesome to see the progression of the build.
Thanks dude 🙏 This will nowhere be as cool and sophisticated as your park though :) But we will make the most of it for sure!
I got so excited when you nailed the tricks you were practicing. nice video man!
Thanks, imagine how I felt :D It is just so amazing to finally get what you are working towards. Appreciate the comment!
Other than a BetaFPV I flew in doors until it stopped working, I only got the chance to fly larger drone once and I flew it gently being that it didn't belong to me. The part that tripped me out was after flying for years in a simulator(liftoff), how natural it felt to go to the real thing. Sure, it wasn't exactly the same. But the muscle memory was there and close enough that transitioning was pretty easy. Eventually I am going to build a drone. I'm just cheap.
Sounds awesome! Yea simulator practice translates quite well into the real world. So I always tell people not to skip on simulator practice!
Great stuff dude
Thanks! Appreciate it!
i have my 5" but i just dont get the fun out of it instead of tinywhoops
I think a well tuned tinywhoop is just as good as a 5". Have a look at @prottentogo on YT :)
@@btastic_fpv okay thank you
this is sick
Thank you 🥰
nice vid dude
Thanks dude 🙏
gg bro your incredible
Thanks so much!
one day.... just one day i will able to do these crazy things! , AWESOME VID MAN!
Thank you so much! 🙏 Of course you will! :)
Hello together, whats meant with 3.5" and 5" drone. Is this the size or what. Thanks in advance😊
It refers to the diameter of the propellers :)
This is such a sick video! The progression in just a year is mind blowing! Amazing! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much! 🙌
my mouth all the time was spelling one thing ,WOWWWWW
Thanks! It was a tough journey :)
@@btastic_fpv but you have done it buddy ! 🥳
@@btastic_fpv sir listen i have a question in my mind, i saw some people flying tiny fpv drones with 21700 battteries but how, because 21700 has low c rating typically 5-10c and drone need c rate like 50-60c but, still the drone fly well, how?
@@user-mb5dm7zs9j Thats a good question! Lithium Ion batteries are viable to run, but they are not very good for heavy throttle flying and freestyle. But they are very good for long range. I usually only see 18650 packs, but i dont see a way why 21700 would not work. So for freestyle, you should stick to LiPo packs, instead of LiIon packs
@@btastic_fpv MEAN I CAN FLY LONG BUT NOT AS FAST
You wanna work for Ukrainia? They need you hahahaha
Haha
what radio is this?
It is a TBS Tango 2 :)
Sick wid it
Hey there! Just wondering, what controller is that? Looks like a simpler version of a Zorro but can’t quite figure it out.
Hey man, thats a TBS Tango 2 :)
Bro that's awesome ❤
Thanks man! ❤️
Hell yeah😮
Thank you! 🙏
I used to fly FPV about 10 years ago and I just picked up a drone this week, and i feel like a kid on a bike with training wheels trying to relearn. I figured it would be there but nope, need to relearn.
Haha awesome! Things have changed quite a bit, it should be easier now to learn, since you don't have to combat your quad that hard anymore. At least from what I heard from oldschool veterans. Enjoy!
Just started. How many days a week and how long did you train for?
Hey man, thanks for asking! In the beginning it was 2 or 3 times per week, but lately I go only out to fly once a week for 5-6 hours per session! I usually fly 10-20 lipos, depending on how long my copters survive. In total I flew around 1000 packs in a year.
@@btastic_fpv that dedication paid off big time. Thank you for that perspective! I'm doing maybe 30-1hr sim a day
@@miestermind Thanks! What you are doing is also dedication! Remember, each pack is like 3-5 minutes. So an hour in the sim is already much more than when you go out and fly :)
