Yes but how well will it fare against a 1250lb Windlass crossbow?
Id love to try one , but they seem very expensive.
@@kevinmaughan4290 - Mine run $40
@@AlanOdinson that's great value, i don't see it on your web site, but ill definetly get one off you plus a t shirt,
This is Turkish style
@turkishstatus7932 - While used in Turkey, it's used across the globe throughout Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East

I’m excited, I ordered mine today!
I ordered mine and it works great!👍🏽
Where is the two fletch arrows? like picture on your tshorts odison...
@@ИванДраго-ы8ж - I've done some videos with two fletch but they fly horribly
@@AlanOdinson give the link pls can't find this video...
Your showing of the sight picture was barely a second or two. Need to see that explained more. Barely saw it.
@@karl5633 - This isn't a free lesson. This is a clip from a paid lesson by a paying client.
Nice bow. You make it? If not what’s it called? As always good content.
Looks great. What are the specs?
@@firebird5889 - odinsonarchery.com/2024/09/25/longhunter-assassin-bow/
Nice bow!
With my 55 lb bow shooting off the shelf using carbon shafts, I use 340 spine and a heavier head, about 200 grains, flies perfect overall weight is about 11gr per pound.
@@a-macthegeneral4705 - It's because of the heavier head that it shoots well at that spine
@@AlanOdinson yes, it’s absolutely intentional, more mass up front makes up for lower speeds with a longbow and hits harder
@@AlanOdinson my point wasn’t to critique just more to comment on that there’s different kinds of set ups that will work 😊 as always I love the content brother, and that new longshot assassin bow is pretty bad ass! Is the Mongolian bow in your other recent video one that you made? Are you going to be selling those?
Damn! Another bow I didn't know I needed!
I make my own. I am indigenous and have always used various styles of ndn bows when hunting. My favorite is an Osage recurve 65lb at 28 inches. It's backed with sinew and prairie rattlesnake a beautiful bow. I've watched your videos and I really enjoy them. Thought I would share that maybe I'll tell you about how I shoot, and my release on another video. Keep them coming
How does this compare to Manchu and other long siyah bows?
Aweeome video, I'll be trying this.
New SHooters here. I bought my wife and I new longbows and the arrow tends to slide off the rest if any slight movement is given to the open side when holding the bow straight up and down. You explained it clear and concise. We tried what you said and no arrows are falling off now. Thank you!!!!
@charlesthevoice1064 - Excellent! Happy to help
Thumb Ring is great!
Cool T Shirt 💪🏼
Thank you! Where can i get your bow?
@@noahboah2310 - odinsonarchery.com
Looks sketchy af 😅😅😅
I believe you add a couple fingers below to make it more effective with higher draw weights not pinch alone
Great video! What bow/arrow set up you use in hunting?
@jukepeke1 - Odinson Archery Alp Turkish at 50 lbs, 550 gr carbon arrows with single bevel broadheads using 5 inch feathers. Sometimes i switch and go with 600 gr bamboo arrows using 2 blade or single bevel broadheads
@@AlanOdinson nice🤗
Nice
Please do a hunting video
@@Mrslayer23437 - In the process currently 👍
That sir is a grouse
Trying that for real this small game season. Watched this guy in Peter Juulsgaard in Denmark call pheasants in and use a recurve!
I like the kayi shirt
Máster profesional
That's it im getting my bow out today.
Is there a good bow you would recommend for a beginner?
Yep, used to in order to hunt with Longbow from a blind. I would have to dig a hole in front of the stool to allow limb clearance. My longbow was only 54". I did 2 or 3 seasons ago with a Tiny Turkish made by Arif Budiman. I mean tiny it is only about 36" strung. I punch all 4 deer tags with it too. Now I shoot a 50" Bodnick soft recurve.
With someone inside, the latter will try to dodge or protect his head with a shield or steel armguard😅. But impressive shot 👍👍👍
👍
100%! I can shoot in very low light but, if I can't see my arrow at all I couldn't hit a target across a phone booth.
Great shots
Good shots
My problem when I shoot right thumb draw I shoot wildly right. Now if I do it lefty I can hit good. I am right handed right eye dominant archer. I have shot Mediterranean Draw for 4 decades. I can swap hands with the bow and thumb draw and shoot my longbows and recurves no problem.
@@UncleDanBand64 - Everyone has that exact same problem when shooting thumb draw initially or trying to learn on their own
@AlanOdinson I just kinda gave up on it. That being said if I get surprised by a deer or hog that ends up on my right side I just swap hands and smoke them lefty thumb. I would probably not take a shot over 15 yards that way though.
With my thumb draw? Center of that ac unit or door for sure😂
Need one. Where and cost?
@@karl5633 - odinsonarchery.com
@@AlanOdinson cool, struggling with horse bows and thumb draw. Loving your videos! Hunting with my recurve this year but hopping to use asiatic bows next year.
Y not! Right? I always figured to get a grip on both, handles, which may be necessary with heavier thicker designs, but if its light and thin, yeah why not?
Now I know
What is the shot correction here?
@@Ebaybow- Just a slight adjustment in elevation
PRIDE NEVER DIE!
A reference point for the second arrow is the first arrow, thus there is nothing instinctive about it. The first arrow is just shot randomly looking at the target.
@zingerzte4192 - The first arrow is referenced towards what is being aimed at such as a bullseye. It is not randomly shot
Spot on! Aiming is always there and must be practiced! For those fans who look up to lars andersen, he, himself, debunked his own claim about instinctive archery! Watch it!
Thank you for this comparison video. Very informative. Are there reasons why 3-fletched arrows are more common-besides maybe cost? (Can’t imagine an extra fletching costs that much more)
@@adambulmash6880 - I think from a general accuracy standpoint, the 3 fletch seem to be more consistently accurate
Awesome man have fun awesome stuff 🪶🪶🪶🏹🏹🎯🎯
Where do u get those arrow screw tips? I'd love some for mine.
Which bow are you using here?
10lb? That's stronger than that.
@@Horsecatcher - It's a 7.....not a 1
@@AlanOdinson you've got me confused. A 7lb bow could hardly shoot. I make bows traditionally out of Osage and other wood .
