Yes. Airport fire truck and their water systems are rarely used, so doing things like this verifies the systems are working incase of an actual emergency. Water Salutes are common for retirement flights (captains last flight before retirement), a planes first or last voyage, and other major events like superbowl victories.

@@tonymarco134 you're right, it sucks lol. I think Matt Rhule has a lot of strengths but offense is not one of them. He needs a Tony White for our offense. I am not convinced that our offensive problems are just a skill issue. The difference between our offense and defense this year is that Tony White managed to maximize the talent he had on defense. I do not think we maximized our talent on offense. Yes, we do need better talent, but I don't think talent was our biggest problem this year.

@treyspencer3101 so far I like white cuz he adjusted each time. Satterfield same shit every game. We will not get our way with Satterfield sadly he is to close to rhule so I'm thinking a very talented qb if we can get one will find a way to make Satterfields shit plays work somewhat but from today listening to rhule doesn't sound good for qb next year.

He admitted himself in a press conference that historically, his defenses have been really good but his offenses have struggled. Well damn guy, maybe you need to reevaluate what you're doing on offense. Honestly, it's amazing what the right guy can do in a short amount of time. I don't like all the excuses we make for why out offense is so bad. Yeah, maybe our talent is lacking on offense. The right coach finds a way to work with what he has. We didn't do that this year.

I remember being at that game. I was in 5th grade when this happened and going back to school the following Monday as the only Clemson fan in my class and lemme tell ya the fight was far from over for the fans lol. Everyone including the teacher ganged up on me claiming Carolina won the fight even though no one saw the first fight at the beginning of the game when Carolina lined up right next to the hill and started it all. That moment right there defines the rivalry for me as a Clemson fan growing up in Columbia, and why I never trust anyone who says they pull for the other team when we’re not playing eachother lol

@John Brad No, it isn't worth treating people like that. After the Gamecocks beat Mississippi State in 2000, as we were leaving the stadium we passed by the MSU team busses. As you can imagine, the players and cheerleaders were down in the dumps. We offered them well wishes for a safe trip back to Starkville and let them know they played a whale of a game. They didn't look like they felt any better but appreciated the hospitality. Truth be told, they looked almost confused that we weren't trash talking them. What for? Makes no sense to me to behave that way.
