Elaine, stop saying you can’t have cheese lol you can !!! The kind of cheese you should be cautious of is cheese that is made with unpasteurized milk like some “fresh” feta or Brie. But most cheese in the US is made with pasteurized milk due to FDA regulations so rest assured your good to eat as much Gouda as you want. Definitely be more mindful during your destination wedding though as some soft, fresh cheese like Mexican Queso Fresco or Blanco are not safe to eat while pregnant.

I can relate so much to you as I experienced the exact same feelings when I became pregnant after 2 miscarriages. The constant fear, the doubt, the confusion, not getting as excited as I wanted just in case I got bad news, the nervousness I felt before every single visit. And the crying and thanking God after those visits. Something else we don’t talk about enough: pregnancy after loss and how it can be one of the most difficult things a women can experience due to severe anxiety. But from one momma to a pending one; take a deep breath and relax. This journey your on will not be an easy one but you can make it easier by trusting yourself and your body to bring your baby to you. Take it one day at a time, one milestone at a time. Every time you reach another week, celebrate. Try your hardest to not focus on your previous loss, and stay in the now. Focus on each day and the joy it brings. I wish I enjoyed my pregnancy more. Congratulations and I hope your enjoying this beautiful time in your life ❤️

With miscarriages it’s usually a genetic, chromosomal, etc issue I think. Meaning that there’s nothing that you could’ve done to prevent it. Ofcourse things like smoking and what not can cause issues but in cases you’re not and everything is relatively normal the miscarriage was going to happen regardless. And I hear they tend to happen in the first trimester the most. Don’t beat yourself up about it. It’s a loss, your feelings are valid, give yourself time to mourn. You may not get fully over it ever but you learn to cope with the pain eventually 🌈 keep your head up and cry when you need to it helps. And remember, if you want it still, your time to be a mother is still possible.
