Macbook Pro Flashing Question Mark Folder - $10 TEMPORARY QUICK FIX!!
How do you fix a flashing question mark folder on your 2009 - 2012 Macbook Pro?? Here is a guide on how to troubleshoot when your Mac to diagnose the problem to see if its just a simple cable or if your hard drive is fried.This is my easy solution that worked for me and most people Ive helped repair to fix that annoying Blinking question mark folder.
Purchase the HDD external adapter to test this out before buying a Hard Drive! I bought mine for $10 at Frys Electronics. You can also purchase this at Best Buy or OfficeMax while you wait for your HDD Cable from Amazon to come in (2 days Prime) You can also buy it on amazon amzn.to/2BoBnqm

Update, it didn’t work :( I think something in my motherboard got fried or something…
I replaced my hard drive cable, my hard drive, and now i tried this adapter and nothing worked. What’s funny is before I bought anything, it was working fine and I had it in recovery mode redownloading the OS

Sir...I am in your debt. I owe you a coffee, a drink or something. I've been without my 2009 MBP for the last 9 months or so and tried every sort of troubleshooting and CMD + all letters of the alphabet to no avail. I watched way too many videos and guides to remember but for whatever reason I dug it out of my closet and decided to crack it open to clean it out and I came across your video as a last ditch attempt before I took it to a repair shop and low and behold ....it's fucking working man. It was the hard drive cable all along.
