Hi, I have a question about the Pixel 8: should I buy the 8/128 or the 8/256 variant? I'm a normal user who primarily views videos and uses social networks like Instagram and WhatsApp, and I also need to store some photos and videos.

I'm packing a Pixel 7 now. Paid $200 and it does everything I need. In two or three years I will get the Pixel 9.

Should have added pixel 6 pro it may be older than the others but offers better camera than 7 and value for money performance its also a lot cheaper .

This is my review about Pixel 8 Display= It's good and bright enough, but not super bright as S23 , it renders natural colors but don't set your expectation very high due to 2000 nits peak brightness , S23, Oneplus 12r feels more bright at max brightness but it will easily get the job done . Cameras = They are good but not everyone likes the color science which is pretty similar to what u see from eyes , For shooting scene scenarios it's excellent but in human skin tone Choices could be subjective, it's like parallel universe to oppo vivo processing. Network= I'm using Jio and I'm shocked to see there are no network issues , UA-camrs are crazily criticizing it but trust me it has better network strength then my previous Redmi note 12 pro 5g. Battery & Charging= It's average initially but as per pixel optimization it improves after 3-4 days of usage , It's ML calibrates the battery as per your usage. This guys easily lasts for day , i charge my phone only once a day in morning and then it lasts till next morning , i don't game . I'm using Boat 65w Pd charger which charged this from 10% to 80% in 40-45 minutes Which is pretty fast and u can use any Pd charger from a reputed brand Performance= It's a pixel, purest form of Android, it's not for you when u play BGMI/ genshin for longer durations, but day to day performance makes u feel that u are using a proper flagship device, no lags no jitters no nothing Haptics= Trust me they are the best haptics u can get in any phone, implementation in ui is undoubtedly the best. Build & Design= It feels small and super premium in hands, Better in hand feel than S23 . Speakers = Adequately loud and good too but they aren't bassy like iPhone ones but it's pretty good u won't complain. Some people were complaining about fingerprint sensor but I haven't faced any issues even with tempered glass.

I'm using Pixel 8 , the brightness may look good on paper but not upto the standards of 2000 nits , looks close to my redmi note 12 pro which just have peak brightness of 950 nits ( not talking about hdr brightness , just for outdoors )

Bought Pixel 7 recently. Problems are have with it are screen flickering and fingerprits. After IPS display, the flickering on Pixel is really annoying and makes eyes hurt after some time, but this topic is extremely personal. Fingerprint scanner is almost useless trash (slow and inconsistent), but face identification works perfectly for me. Overall, I'm satisfied for the price

So it was 23% with 3 hour 52 mins , some gaming , video calls, mostly wifi , decent multitasking It's not a 11r , it's 3/4 the weight, the other day my phone fell from pocket height , I recently removed the tempered , this p-oled is so much more vibrant. Had smart connect on , can access photos, copy text with a windows pc seamlessly Used a bit of my laptop today have a smart plug , but can do decent use on the laptop without being plugged in, it is not bad even today due to its design and weight, trackpad isn't exactly great especially for two finger scroll but I have an external mouse , what about the keyboard, although there is flex in the keyboard area , major flex it's not flimsy while typing on it , infact the key design is pretty premium and pretty stiff , doesn't feel cheap , travel is also pretty deep , 1.2-1.4 cm

I have used Pixel 3a, 6a and 8. I have tried my friends 7 also. I would highly recommend to go for 8 atleast. One major issue that Pixel had was Display brightness. Pixel 7 and older had very poor brightness. If you are buying a phone for photograhpy, it should have a good outdoor brightness or else. What is the use. I have struggled several times with my Pixel 6 and 3a because they had very poor brightness. Most of the times I could not preview the photos that I have taken outside, but I always had the gut feeling that the Pixel photos would never be bad, but that's not the right way to do that.

U can easily buy it with bank offer and gst discount for around 25-27k ... And for that price no phone comes even close in software and cameras ... Or even processor too it is better than 7s gen 2 , 7350 , or 7 gen 2 and i think it is enough ... But if we talk about only photo quality , it is out n out better than i phone 14 or atleast on par with it .

Using pixel 6 pro and feels better than my cousin's pixel 7. It's smooth as always with 120hz display. I hope to use it until 2026. After that i can move to pixel 9 or 10

Have pixel 7. Please please please don't purchase it as one major issue I face is indoor signal strength. Even my few years old mi a1 gets better signal. And boy oh boy if you use navigation for more than half hr with cellular it'll heat up like oven. And 99% time the fingerprint doesn't work, now only I rely on pin. Unless you're indoor only then go for thing phone. The battery with normal usage is impossible to last for one whole day, that with slow charge. This was one of worst buys in my life. Please AVOID IT

Hey! Thanks for the video i am planning to buy pixel 7 in this Flipkart sale. As you mentioned pixel 7 will get Android updates till October 2027 or will get only Security patch updates. Hopeing pixel 7 will give flagship experience in 2024 as i am currently using Redmi note 9 pro max from 2020.

On my Pixel 7 I get 3 days of battery life with very light usage (bluetooth and wifi always on with MiiBand connected). It does heat up when using the camera. The main killer feature is making fast photos and videos. For example I see a fox running like a meter from me, I whip out the phone, double press the power button to start camera, then press and keep pressing the record button on screen to take video. I can still catch the end of the foxes tail like 10 meters from me. On older phones this didn't work since the camera app took too long to start or lagged, on the Pixel 7 it's near-instantaneous. I could have upgraded to the Pixel 9 but I hate the new design with a passion. I hope they change it until the end of support for my Pixel 7.
