350z cooling fan diagnosis
How to diagnose a bad cooling fan on a 07 -08 Nissan 350z (HR) or an Infiniti G 35 (may also apply to older Zs and Gs)
You will need a multi-meter to test out the 12 v voltage on the harness connector
Connect to pins on left side of fan harness connector tap (top and bottom pins) to multimeter.
That is pin B and D in picture here

aircraft design piracy
Переглядів 472 тис.15 років тому
a few examples of aircraft design piracy - just my opinion . . . . of soviet era planes . . . I am not taking any sides with this video, I personally like russian hardware. The only reason for doing this video to point out some of the unnatural similarities found in aircraft designs . . . . I am sure there are more design copies out there . . . please comment if you know any other . . . . the m...
My driver side fan, just made some clicking noises while the passenger side did turn on, do I need to replace the fans ? My car is slightly over heating
What if the fans do turn on during the auto test but wont kick on under normal operation?
Is it the same procedure with Infiniti FX35?
is it possible to have just one bad cooling fan motor? Seems the passenger side fan doesn't come on, but the driver side does
I have the same problem, did you ever find out what was wrong with it
Thanks for the video!
DE TODOS O YAK 41M FOI DE LONGE O MAIS DIFERENTÃO
Are both the fans supposed to turn on ?
Well the Tu-144 made its maiden flight in 1968 while the Concorde in 69..
Overall external design (physical shape) of the aircraft cannot be patented. So no intellectual property rights, no infringement, no "piracy". Fun fact: a leading smartphone company (name starting with "A") once tried to file a patent for a "rectangular shape phone with rounded edges". Insanely enough, that was rejected. Lol.
Lockheed BOUGHT the Yak technology. Do some research for god's sake.

How do you remove the fan relays from the IPDM engine room(car}? There are three relays and I'm unable to remove them. I think one is bad.
Why did I get a 12 years old video In my recommendation.
I have the same question. Is it youtube really coming down?
Which door button do you press?
OK, I figured it out, it's the door open/closed sensor in the door jamb, not the buttons to lock/open the door.
Is it better to replace to motors and reuse the fans since the blades don't go bad?
You can, it would be cheaper to replace the motors. If your fan shroud is bad, then just get the whole assembly. Otherwise, just get the motors, the motors are the same for both sides.
Thanks I'll do this in a little
All German jet Technology
Hit with a hammer the back center in each fan, carbon dust can adding friction to the motor fan. It worked for me when the motor wasn’t start or the fan was running slowly.
I did this. It worked. Thanks. Just dont know how long it will last lol
worked for me as well, thanks fonesca
Worked for me too
whatever the west does, we can do better!
Thanks for the very clear debugging walkthrough. This was extremely helpful!
How did you check the connectors on the fans?
Stuck resistors into the pin holes and then used a multimeter.
@@srsairbags I'm a bit new to this. Are the resistors purely to help hold the multimeter into the connector? Or do they server another purpose?
@@nwparker7 purely to hold the multimeter leads in place. Good luck.
@@srsairbags Thanks! I was able to use some paperclips. Yep, need new fans
This was a really well done video. Thanks for posting. If you could have mentioned the color of the wires at the fan connectors that you used it would have been perfect for me. Still, very helpful and thanks!
My HR overheats when I turn the Ac on any idea what it could be ? The fans turn on weirdly sometimes both on, sometimes only 1 with a delay before it turns on
Could be the cooling fan.

F-35's swivel nozzle wasn't "piracy" - Lockheed Martin bought Yak-(1)41s from Yakolev specifically to use as engineering examples, with Yakolev's blessing. (They paid well over the actual market value for the (1)41s specifically to get the engineering information, too.)
It wasn't piracy even if they did steal the design because it wasn't originally YAKs anyway "As Lockheed Martin began construction and tests of the nozzle, the shortcomings of the design became more apparent. The abilities to turn the flow through 90 degrees under high loads and control the nozzle exit area would have resulted in a very heavy design. This resulted in the pursuit of a lighter design that traced its roots to an early 1970s nozzle design from the proposed Convair Model 200 V/STOL fighter aircraft concept. A three-bearing swivel nozzle was developed by Pratt & Whitney and became part of the Convair Model 200 design that never continued into development. Following joint studies by Pratt & Whitney and Lockheed Martin, the 3BSM concept was integrated into the X-35B design and shown to be lighter."
Russia and China = copy and paste countries. Period.
Después de la caída de la URSS ,EEUU compro la licencia del yak 141 para hacer el f-35...
Seng njiplak teknologi kui sejati e mamarika...😱😱😱
1: Yakolev was paid for the designs of the 144. 2: How do you patent a design for a stove pipe flexible elbow that's been around for about 200 years? 3: Did you mention the Tu-4 Bull? A literal nut by bolt copy of the B-29 reverse engineered from B-29s that were stolen from the US when they force landed in Russia. Some ally... 4: there were swing wing aircraft long before the Su-24. 5: the MiG 23 copies many jet intake features from the F-4 Phantom, the MiG even has barricade cutters on the stand offs of the splitter plates - which the F-4 has for carrier operation! They copied it not knowing what it was for!!! 6: Early Russian jet engines were direct copies of the Rolls Royce Nene - not licensed copies, just copies. It goes back to WWII too, the engine in early MiGs was an illegal copy of Hispano Suiza engines and the radials in later La-7s and up was an illegal copy of Pratt and Whitney. And don't forget GAZ trucks, all illegal copies of Fords.
Yak-141 the best
ua-cam.com/video/H0IY3Z0lcI/v-deo.html even the ak47 is a copy of the stg 44. Don't believe me. Look at the ak46. Yes the prototype ak46 and it is a direct copy of the stg 44. The ak47 is the improvement of the ak46 so all of you STFU
Super bro excellent video
its called counter measures.
F-15 is a MiG-25 american light and simplifield version.
Mao was famous for saying "...we can steal anything," and it has been largely true--even befor WWII as just about anyone who works at Livermore labs these days can still attest to. It is a fact that Stalin had the plans for the completed A-Bomb three days after we finished building it. It took Soviet engineers five additional years to figure the plans out and actually build their own bomb but that really isn't the point, which is that the US had been so well infiltrated that while Oppenheimer never did get a security clearance they let him continue to the end of the project and Julius and Ethel Rosenberg took the fall instead. PS - As pertains to the BS about us stealing from the Soviet Union, I would those too young to remember, the Soviet Union was a "closed state," which was the sole reason we moved to putting Keyhole and numerous other satellites into orbit--especially in the wake of Gary Powers--Powers himself being the result, again, of the Soviets stealing radar data from our navy, et al.
Just like in the early years of aviation, where the Wright biplane and the Bleriot monoplane were copied by numerous inventors around the world. They all might look alike but varies in some sort of way, improving the technology along the way. Aircraft evolution.
Also include B 02 a copy of HO-229 made by Nazi Germany? Also include ME-262 of Nazi Germany whose designs were studied by the US to develop the F-86 Sabre and Boeing B-47. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Me_262.
How yak141 be copy of f 35 wtf
The Buran had just similaritis to the space shuttle, but did not have engine for move in the atmosphere, only in space, the inside was totallt differrent and much more advanced. And US has never made anything as Energia who lifted Buran into space
Blueprints of Tu-160 was finish in 1972
Well how many have copied the Gripen JAS 39 double delta ???
...the laws of physics are the same everywhere...!
There's a documentary about the creation and production of the f35, where Lockheed plainly state design elements, ideas and inspiration was taken from the yak
Take the bowl of the Ricans
But how can we be so con !
when you say design piracy like a xerox copy machine... like B29 to TU-4 which is perfectly identical... that's why the US has the right to complain and they did after ww2... b29 and tu-4 is the perfect example and chinese su-27 which the russian did also complain..
the blackjack was 14 years before the b1.
Concord is the one copied Tu-144..if not mistaken.
