Basic Console Modding and Trickery - Playing Unavailable Games The Cheap Way
Переглядів 8 тис.6 місяців тому
Video game collecting is an expensive hobby and many legacy titles are becoming too expensive to buy. It's time to trick these old consoles into playing games that may or may not be real. Once again please support original developers when applicable (apparently you can buy the Felix the Cat game on modern platforms now) and yes emulators are the easiest option this was just a fun experiment. Mad props for letting "Monster Blood" pour on your head for that long while still holding a straight face. If it were me, I would've broke character and laughed on the spot, but you held it in like a champion.
There is a complete set of the series, I have it. Was available on Amazon a couple years ago
I had memories of a mish-mash of different Ispy games I played on computer, and I thought I was crazy. But then, I found Ispy mystery, and realized THAT WAS IT! I wanna order it from eBay at some point to replay it. I still maintain that that is the best Ispy game bc it had a bit of everything.
My cat was sitting on my lap watching my computer screen when your cat, who looks strikingly similar, appeared in the video.
i loved these
Yo, you have the Goosebumps Horrorland theme playing in the background 16 minutes in. Were you alluding to your recent video here? 👀 Good stuff. Good stuff.
I was terrified of dead rising growing up
Oh yeah. I remember spending countless hours watching dvds on interactual. Many had unique player skins.
You can buy this game along with a few other I Spy games on Big Fish. I used to love this game as a kid, and as an adult I got to relive the magic by playing it with my kids :)
i could never get through the dining room plate spinning minigame in the Wii version bc you had to keep all the plates spinning at the same time , and so i asked my parents for help…and they couldn’t do it either 💀 so i got frustrated and never escaped lol
Loved the ds horrorland game as a kid
Oh, well now I know the source of all my childhood nightmares
dude you just shot me at light speed down pure memory lane, holy hell. that opening music alone. i remembered getting terrified by this game but also loving the atmosphere and puzzles. i liked how it had a story that kept you going - as a kid, having a game give me rewards the longer i played was the best.
I have several hdmi modded consoles using PixelFX products and they all look great. I’ve installed several of the GEM mods for customers so anybody looking hit me up and I can help you out
I've only seen Momo in two videos so far and I'm already emotionally attached
Just when I thought I couldn't be more attracted to Jeff Goldblum
16:40 would have given me nightmares for a week the first time it happened
What’s the jail breaker website to find these old iOS games at?
Dropped a retro gem in my n64, was looking to do it to the ps1 but I don’t think it’s compatible? (7500 series). However I’m definitely dropping one in the ps2…35000 series hopefully…fingers crossed. . Also use an mClassic, plug that bad boy from your multiport to the tv 🤌🏻
Never played the games but absolutely loved the books. There was always something new you didn’t notice before every time you looked at it,didn’t matter how many times, but there was always something
I swear to god I had a 3DS version of I Spy Spooky Mansion. I tried finding it but of course I couldn’t
1:34 Umm.... Slappy is....very happy on that tape dispenser....who ever design this predicted some of those wierd ass fan fics of slappy
I played this so many times. I loved these games.
the ds version of horrorland was probably the best, could be biased, grew up with it
I taught myself how to use a virtual machine for the purpose of playing I Spy Treasure Hunt. Had to painstakingly follow a 45 minute video tutorial but it was worth it. I would spend hours playing those games as a kid and made my mom check them out from the library over and over again. The sound effects are still ingrained in my memory.
This game definitely started my obsession with point and click games, especially when flash games were popular.
wow I never thought id see a video about this! about a year ago my gf got the deluxe version running on her virtual machine and we played it. it was defiantly a trip down memory lane. I used to go to my local library and play the game on their computers
I like how he says spOOky
i keep hearing ice spice
I really liked this video
First original backwards compatible PlayStation 3 is much more simple lol. Retro gem is pretty cool too tho!
The butterfly drawer was difficult for me
Spooky night went crazy
Nightmare fuel
Real ones remember the iSpy game that was on the leapster
One of my favorite PC games as a kid. I was a console player through and through because my families pc was ass so when i did play pc games this was a top, i can barely remember most games i played on pc at the time but i never forget this one especially because i loved horror as a kid.
I used to play the Wii version all the time as a kid. It was the kind of game you play as a child that feels so difficult it’s really rewarding when you get to a new level or get another piece of the puzzle or so on.
I loved this game 🥹
dude i'm so glad i found ur channel! i was obsessed with Ispy!! the photos were insane just so much to look at
This is such a well done video, I love this concept of a super deep dive of a forgotten game, and now I know all about it for no reason. Excited to check out more from your channel :)
I remember it would only run on my dad’s work laptop. Only got to play it once on my family desktop! Please play ISpy Treasure Hunt next!
Mechapwn can be used on fats also. My fat ps2 is heavily modded and runs this exploit. A few things of note. Mechapwn can either make your ps2 region free killing the backward compatibility or you can keep the compatibility and allow it to run region free/burned ps1 disks. (This is the one i recommend) also note that if you install it incorrectly you will brick the ps2
I tried to do this maybe a year ago, I could get it running but the audio was super broken and distorted for specifically the I spy game, did you also have this problem and if so how did you fix it?
Ive played night of scares and horrorland
Loved these games as a kid! ( I was a scaredy cat when it came to this game though lol)
Born in 2000. This was my childhood. I used to beg my older sister to get pc version up and running for me. My favorite part was making the different ghosts from the different ingredients. I think there was a spider one that scared me.
im way too high for this
I had 3 of the I Spy PC games as a kid and I actually still have my Spooky Mansion Deluxe disc bc it was my favorite!
This was my favorite as a kid
I remember playing the original game as a kid. It was one of those things where I loved the little jingles, the animations, the actual game of finding things, but at the same time the game was really creepy to me. But I think the creepiness factor is what made it really stand out. I think I remember having I Spy game where it was outdoor themed? But I dont remember it nearly as well as the Spooky Mansion
