Off the the far sides the reinforcement is closer to the bumper more towards the center you will hit the absorber foam. No wiring to worry about where your drilling

If you’re going to a Toyota body shop they’ll know what to do. If the battery is disconnected while it’s unplugged you’re usually fine. Sometimes you’re fine with it being done even if it’s not unplugged but that’s rolling the dice. There’s ways to remove the bumper without unplugging it to. Most shops that work on newer cars know all that needs to be done. All these cars now need so much extra care because of the electrical components

This one didn’t have any lights it was just a cover where they would go. Sorry about the accident that’s a real bummer

Yes disconnect the battery. It will keep you from having to recalibrate.

Yes I’ve done it before just hard to get to the screws. If your doing that to not recalibrate most of the time just unhook the battery while your working on it and it’s unplugged.

@@mmotorcycles9497 just to clarify, you’re saying to unhook the battery FIRST then unplug the radar/sensors to avoid recalibrating?

There’s a plastic clip that goes in the bumper. Square holes along the bottom. All clips on bottom are the same then a self sinking 10mm head bolt

It was damaged I had to replace it

The base coat wasn’t coming off just the clear so probably wrong clear over the base or they waited to long to clear.

Sorry that was a different answer for that one Toyota has a recall on white cars the paint didn’t bit into the sealer so after time they start to peel. Toyota pays to have the whole car painted under warranty.

My Hyundai is doing this. Did you have to razor blade the entire roof?

@@premierpowerwashing6634 they have a recall on them too. Depending but you might get a free paint job out of it. It doesn’t all come off with razor blade but a lot does.

I would put a couple light coats of primer on the edges. Real light just dust it on. That should stop the edges from pealing back
