**No Fishing!** | Pearl City Powerplant | Back to our Roots | Pualu Fishing
Come along with me as I visit my not so secret hole that holds a place in my heart. A little spot that's located just off a beaten path in Pearl City Hawaii. Watch me as we fish for some Pualu and Oio with rubber hooks and explain some simple rules to follow.
We as fisherman’s Agreed to:
1) FISH ONLY DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS (Absolutely NO NIGHT FISHING)
2) TAKE YOUR TRASH/OPALA
We all need to remember that HECO made the pathways clearer and much safer for us to continue fishing there. The least we could do is abide by the simple rules given to us fisherman (per HECO). Regardless of where we fish... We always need to Keep our Aina, beaches clean and pick up after ourselves. Keep all trash and fishing lines off our beaches and reefs to insure a better tomorrow for our Marine life. We surely don't want another shut down because of simple carelessness. And besides... This is our little island we live on. Keep it Beautiful... our future depends on it.

** DIY** SAND FLEA RAKE (SAND TURTLE) FOR UNDER $20!!!
Переглядів 45 тис.4 роки тому
Thanks for joining me for Tackle Tip Tuesdays. Todays tackle tip we'll be making a Sand Flea Rake (Sand Turtle) for under $20! As a child we used to use a red flimsy scoop net to try and catch these Sand Turtles or Sand Fleas. It was so difficult for us to sift the sand through the eyes of the scoop net. Especially when the net gets full of sand. The weight of the wet sand would bend our net lo...

Large Bonefish caught at Sand Island Boat Harbor Honolulu Hi
Переглядів 7 тис.4 роки тому
Large Oio (Bonefish) caught at Sand Island Boat Harbor in Honolulu Hawaii. It’s nice to see the Marine life here making a complete comeback. There was a huge Molasses spill back in 2013 that devastated the Marine life throughout Honolulu Harbor. This happened back in 2013 when Matson spilled 233,000 gallons Molasses in the Harbor. Therefor killing all the Marine life. An under water video was t...

Catch and Cook Yellowfin Tuna. Learning the art of canning Yellowfin Tuna. Catching Yellowfin Tuna here on the island of O’ahu is an awesome Big Game Sport. We also enjoy the perks of fishing by eating and sharing all our catches. Also being really resourceful considering the cost living here on the islands. Very little fish goes to waste. As you all heard by now... Hurricane Lane is now on its...

Good work gett'n it reopenned! brings back a lot of memories from the early 60's. The goal was to land the papio and L-dock on the peninsula and Ford Island for the omaka run. We believed there was a sub line below the waters at L-dock loaded with lost lead weights, lol. What a Blast way back when

Right on braddah! I grew up with the action there. We called this place “Bike Paths”. Used to have ice ponds down the road and had the water cress farm. We used to catch crayfish over there. Gotta keep this place secret for the locals. Awesome vid but now the Haoles going take over! Just like how these Haoles taking over the rest of the island! All us Hawaiians and true locals need to pass these places on to our next generation not the Haoles and transplants!!
